We love coming here Well maintained, clean and quiet. Have never been here and experienced it crowded. Lovely hikes with breathtaking views. Specially at this time of the year. Walking for hours without seeing anybody, so relaxing. How can you not just love mother nature's creations?

Always stay here once or twice a year love it as it's not too far away from home. The saugeen is a nice paddle in usually start at 8 and get out at the campsite. Just wish they would provide grates for the fire pits otherwise 10/10

Disappointing Experience – Not What We Expected We were really looking forward to our stay at this campground, especially after seeing the photos and reading some of the positive online reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was quite underwhelming, especially compared to the provincial parks we usually frequent. First and foremost, there is absolutely no cell service or Wi-Fi at the campsites, which may be fine for some, but it’s worth noting for anyone who needs to stay connected in any way. The amenities were a letdown. The “splash pad” is essentially a broken sprinkler head—not something kids can actually enjoy. The playground is outdated and could use a major upgrade. As for the pool, calling it a “pool” is generous—it’s more like a fenced-in bucket of water, and it’s rarely open. We also stayed in one of the “bunkies” which are essentially sheds with no electricity. Definitely not a comfortable or worthwhile option. Site quality varies drastically—some are fairly well maintained, while others are in such poor shape that the park ends up looking messy and neglected overall. In short, this campground did not live up to expectations. With so many better-maintained and better-equipped parks out there, I wouldn’t recommend this one unless some serious upgrades are made.

Paid 2x what the rest of our group paid, for a smaller site, without hydro, on the other side of the park. The park staff was friendly and helpful at check in. The garden shed they call a bunkie was clean, but rustic and didn't actually lock. There is a BBQ, firepit and 2 small horse stalls, in case one wants to take their horse or pony camping. Washrooms were clean and appropriately distanced from sites. No showers on that side, either. Luckily, I planned for fully unserviced camping. We will find another park if we find ourselves up in that area again.

Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area is a very pleasant and beautiful place for camping. It is located in a stunning location in the middle of pure Ontarian nature. It also has all required facilities for a memorable stay. Driving about 45 minutes from the camp site, you will reach to the gorgeous village and lake which levels up your experience.

Short hike to scenic lookout over the bucolic Saugeen River and Bluffs, many riverside and forested trail options, well-marked enough to find your way back when you get lost. Uncrowded, inexpensive, very pleasant experience.

This is a beautiful conservation area. The washrooms were clean. In some cases there seemed to be tension between seasonal site holders and weekend campers. Site 151 is too small for any trailer. Otherwise I would camp here again.
