Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. Hosts Scott & Melissa went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Our site was newly renovated. The new set-up was so thoughtful with a paver patio, fire pit two level grill in the convenient pull-thru site for our large rig. The bathhouse was always clean as was the laundry room. The campground was close to all that Savannah has to offer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great stay at this campground. The site was level, clean, and easy to pull through, which made setup quick and stress-free. The facilities were well maintained, and the area was quiet and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A big bonus was that the Old Town Trolley picked us up right at the campground at 9:30 am and dropped us off at 5:00 pm for free. We even received a $5.00 off coupon for tours, which was a nice surprise. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Overall, a delightful experience—we’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for one night but were very pleased with our short stay! Upon arrival the staff was very friendly. The campground was clean and not too far from the interstate. We stayed in the site near the river. It was very quiet and clean. The walkway and small dock overlooking the river was so peaceful. The river end of the campground is my preferred area of the campground. The other areas seem a little more closely spaced to the neighboring site. Would definitely stay again.

SSSA was a beautiful rv park. Staff was wonderful, park was clean with great laundry facilities & bathhouse. Julia hosted a park meet & great one evening and was so awesome. We are staying at Spacious Skies RV parks all the way up the East Coast so we are looking forward to spending out time with them.

Great campground and very well appointed. Nice pool and the campground is very clean. A huge shoutout to staff member, Julia. She was very knowledgeable about the grounds and very helpful in navigating Savannah. We asked her to give us guidance on what we should see and do in Savannah. She made our two days here remarkable. THANK YOU! Please bring her back next year.

We stayed in this campground since it was close to downtown Savannah. The sites were very close together. We didn't put our chairs out because we would have been very close to our neighbor. Site was gravel and dirt and not level. The dog park was nice and big and the park was clean. Roads were a little tight.

We spent last night at Spacious Skies Savannnah Oaks as an overnight stay on our way to Charlotte. We could not be happier with this campground! Excellent customer service when booking by phone, great late check-in procedures and a large pull-through site combined for ann easy, pleasant experience. The campground and sites are spacious and clean. Will stop again!

Probably the worst campground experience I’ve had. Where do I start? We stayed for a couple of months due to work in the area. While we there the water was shutoff without warning at least twice per week for hours at a time, making it super inconvenient to shower, cook, and wash dishes. The laundry room is in desperate need of upgrades, with multiple washes and dryers out of service for our entire stay. Only 3 dryers for the entire campground of over 60 spots. One of the worst things was my experience with the staff. When we arrived at the campground two women greeted us and gave us a map with directions to our spot as well as parking passes to hang in our cars. This part was no problem and we easily navigated to our spot. But, much to my surprise one afternoon I receive a knock at the door from a man asking me very rudely who I was and why I “moved spots without letting anyone know”. As I was attempting to explain that we never moved and were in the spot indicated on our paperwork he cut me off multiple times and did not let me speak. We went to the office to sort things out, and although we were in fact in the correct spot we received no apology or explanation other than that someone else would be arriving and we needed to move. The pull-through spaces at this campground alternate directions, meaning that you will be door to door with the space next to you which is also about 5 feet away. A really bizarre setup and makes it very inconvenient for pets and spending time outside. Also, the photo that is on the website of the dog park is not a photo of this location. The dog park is a nice feature, although there is no grass, only dirt which makes it very hard to keep your pet clean.

Love Spacious Skies Campground. The staff are friendly and professional. The check-in was easy. It was quiet and we felt safe. Needed help with the cable and someone was sent to our site quickly. Issue resolved. We have stayed at Spacious Skies Campground three times and plan on checking out their other campgrounds as well.

We needed a quick overnight stay and this met our needs perfectly. My kids enjoyed the basketball court and tether ball. We thought the camp store was nice and they are renovating it currently. They had a good variety in the store. Enjoyed a good fire on a cold night. The dog park was a great place for our little dog to go off leash. The people were kind and helpful. Great for an overnight pit stop or a long weekend.

This is a good rv park near town. Only about 25 min from old Town. I was not too happy that they charge an extra $3 per person per night after 2 people. That can really add up. They do have bathrooms, boat ramp, a playground and a pool (under construction). The sites are easy to back into. We are #1 and had a 32ft bumper pull trailer.

Arrived to friendly staff, however we were disappointed to find the pool under construction. I had mentioned our interest in using the pool when booking and the construction wasn’t mentioned. FHU sites by the road are very close together so prepare for the noise of your neighbors and the road traffic. Playground was nice for our daughter. This location may make a great stopover location, but I wouldn’t choose this location for long term stays. Proximity to Savannah and other local attractions is convenient.

Campground is good price and well located. Trolley to historic Savannah will do a pick up and drop off at the campground. It is not a stop. Campground was clean. Like the private bath house w/shower. nice trail within walking distance at the Savannah Ogeechee Canal and also the Georgia Civil War Trail. Campsites are very close together and not private. if you have a dog that does not like other dogs or people this may be a problem. also fire rings are for rent but if you buy 3 packs of fire wood it is free. Would stay here again but not with my dogs.

I was here for a month and loved it! Close to stores and Savannah, but still out of the way. The road is busy but the campground can't control that- I got used to it. Really friendly staff. The dock is a peaceful place to spend an afternoon and the canals are close by. Thanks for a wonderful time!
