Sawtooth/Mount Heyburn

aho The Sawtooth Mount Heyburn Stanley Idaho is a mountain range located in the Sawtooth National Forest in central Idaho. The range is named after William Heyburn, a former U.S. Senator from Idaho. The range is part of the larger White Cloud Mountains, and is located in the Sawtooth Valley, which is a popular destination for outdoor recreation. The range is home to a variety of wildlife, including elk, deer, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep. The highest peak in the range is Mount Heyburn, which stands at 10,229 feet. The range is also home to several lakes, including Redfish Lake, Stanley Lake, and Alturas Lake. The area is popular for camping, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

This camp site is absolutely amazing! Great location, very clean, and well taken care of. JIM the camp host is the best host ever!!!! We will be coming back in a couple of weekends and hope this will be our new spot (if we can get in as its very popular), Thank you Jim for being so wonderful!

Nice clean campground with wooded sights. First come first serve..no reservations very busy place!

Great campground, it's not on the lake, it sits on a bench above sockeye campground. Its maybe a 5 minute walk to the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. There are a few really good secluded spots at this campground compared to the other campgrounds on Redfish lake.
