We stayed here this past weekend during our 2 day ball tournament. The managers were so nice and accommodating. They let us keep our camper parked on checkout day until we were finished. They also called us by name on the way out. So friendly and we loved the campground!

We were in western NC in a flooded campground during Hurricane Helene and could not make our reservation at Scenic MTN campground. They refused to refund us and told us they would refund us if they rented our site. We called all three days we had reserved and they told us they were booked. When we called them out on it, they offered us a rain check. They would not give us a refund. We live in St Petersburg and we're trying to get home before Hurricane Milton hit. So if you are thinking about this campground, you may want to reconsider, they are all about the money and have no consideration for others suffering in natural disasters.

So disappointed in this place. When we researched it we were excited to stay. When you arrive the place is clean and nice. Once we parked our camper we did not realize what an ant problem the site had. When we woke the next morning our camper was infested with ants. It took us several days after we left to clear them out. Some ant killer on the site would be helpful. You have been warned!

We stayed here for 3 months recently and really enjoyed the time there! Katherine is an amazing kind-hearted manager and Wayne does a great with the maintenance always willing to lend a hand. Both of them go above and beyond to make the campground a great experience for everyone. We felt like we were part of a community of friends there. Everyone was kind and the campground was peaceful and quiet. Everyone pitched in for a community Thanksgiving meal that was awesome. The hiking trails were excellent and perfect for dogs. I highly recommend Scenic Mountain for a quick stop in or long term stay.

This is by far the nicest campground we have ever stayed. Very large sites, very quiet, very clean. The staff is amazing (Miss Katherine the Manager is amazing along with the Maintenance Manager, Mr Wayne ) go above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing !!!! The salt water pool is awesome, the 5 stocked fishing ponds, and the hiking trails are amazingly kept. My wife is a traveling nurse, so we camp all over the country. This is a must do for all you traveller's. Thank you Scenic Mountain Staff for an amazing stay. We will be back !!!!!

This is a really wonderful campground. The management is really friendly and personable, and you can tell they care about the grounds and guests. There are trails and ponds, and the scenery is lovely. Great location with Macon an hour away, Lake Sinclair 20 minutes, and historic Milledgeville 5 minutes away. It's far enough out to be quiet, but close enough to town to not drain your tank for groceries.

This review is for the House we rented on the property. It's next to the pool. All I can say is wow, what a disappointment. Where to begin? Both smoke detectors were completely removed with wires hanging. Dents, scuffs and scratches all over the walls. There was a hole in the floor by one of the back doors. Every single pot and pan was burnt. No dish soap to wash with. Nice windows were either tinted or fogged and there was half peeled off stickers on the back door. Candy and food wrappers under the beds. It was 45 overnight and all of the heat rises to the loft, so downstairs was cold and upstairs was hot. I don't think they have cleaned in weeks I could go on, but enough said.....we won't be going back.

We live about 40 minutes from Milledgeville. I've been passing by this place for YEARS, but never stopped in. That being said, this past weekend we had a reason to bring the camper and stay in Milledgeville for a weekend. My son wanted to bring a couple of friends and they didn't wanna stay in the camper, so we also got a primitive spot. Now lets be clear... "primitive" means just that. No water. No electricity. And that's exactly what the teen boys were okay with. This place is GREAT! Had no idea it was so large and had so much to do. I'm not sure we'll have too many occasions to stay there, but we are definitely now looking for reasons to do so.
