Went camping in the rustic cabin. My dog got sick and had to leave in the middle of the night. We found out that other dog b4 us had gotten the same sickness. The next day we called was told we would get our deposit back come to find out that was a lie. Was told we ruined there beds and mattress covers kind stange because the covers were on the beds when we got in and we washed them b4 we left that same day. Also we didn't even use the bunk beds but some how all the beds were so bad they couldn't clean them. I would like to say that one of there own employees told us they never deep cleaned b4 the other dog was sick. I will never go back again and its sad because my family loved it there. I dont recommend this place to anyone.

I wrote a review over year ago and I still say the same. This campground is truly great!! Our family has been going here for 6 years. We use to go once during the summer but now we go twice during the summer.. I have always found the staffing extremely friendly and helpful.. the last few years we have been using the rustic cabin and love it. We use to tent but one year there was a bad storm and rain was coming through our text and they were so kind enough to help my family and had us moved to the rustic cabin at a discounted price and last minute. Our three girls love coming here and love there pool. There bathrooms have always been clean and if there is any problems they are right on it. This past July they had great activities and had knocker balls my girls had a blast at no charge to us. The campground is very peaceful even if it is full of campers. See you in a few weeks....

So we have always gone here for years. I stopped going as I started a family and now we love atv riding so we booked a site. And we showed up and they said there not even allowing them on a trailer or in your vehicle/ truck. So we said okay we have family down the road we can probably park them at. They said you can park you trucks so you can get you pop up parked and set up.. okay we said. We walked out side and the guy in the golf cart started getting very angry and telling us we need to get moving cause we are blocking the driveway. Now we were off the side were they were doing construction. You could have drove a semi truck between us easily. We said we will be moving in about 10 minutes. The office said we could. So we did as we said we dropped the camper and didn’t even setup just left. We came back to setup. The guy in the golf cart kept drive around staring us down like criminals. We just waved, nothing back. Next day I was leaving a day early but rest were staying another nite. So I parked my truck on the side of the road this time which is basically a highway. He came outside and stared me down.. then proceeded to do the same the entire time I packed my belongings to leave. What a jerk. We felt very in welcome I do not recommend this place to anyone it’s like a prison

A Hidden Gem in the Great Outdoors! Scenic View Campground absolutely lives up to its name! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great tips about nearby hiking trails and local spots to explore. The campsites are well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out to give you a sense of privacy while still being part of a community. Whether you're tent camping or bringing an RV, there are plenty of options — and the hookups worked perfectly. What really stood out were the little touches: spotless restrooms, clean showers with good water pressure, picnic tables at every site, and even a small camp store stocked with essentials (and s'mores kits!). The sunsets here are unreal — don’t forget your camera. We had a peaceful, relaxing stay and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a scenic, well-run campground that’s both family- and pet-friendly, Scenic View Campground is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

As a family we have 3 kids who celebrate birthdays in May. We all get together and camp at same place those year we chose Scenic view which we have stayed many times. One of the kids sleeps in tent right near our trailer. We'll I guess this yr. they said no tents on same site as trailer now remind u we have been here many times. 1st it was a guy on golf cart very rude. We went up to office and something we encountered office staff saying u didn't read rules. She said been that way 6 yrs. I said we have been here multiple times and always let the child sleep in tent near us. And My son alway on another site. Every excuse in the book of why and read rules. We explained we had 5 family there for the birthdays. We also had guests coming the next day so we pay visitor fees so they can come in. We'll this campground made us pay 150 dollars extra to move a tent 10 ft. Really what happened to the days where a family could camp and little Johnny wants to sleep in his pop tent!!!!! I'm so discussed so camping for 3 night 375 plus for a family to stay together. Oh by the way bring ur two dogs 1 can stay but 2 there's a fee. Activities all fee based except a wagon ride 5 minutes long. If I could rate a 0 I would.
