Quiet, no frills camping at it's finest. Mostly seasonal campers, but they do offer tent and RV sites. Beautiful view of the mountains from the field camping areas. Kayak/Canoe or tub launching area that allows you to float for a few hours to the other side of the campground. Office has basic necessities, candy, toys and such. Clean pool, bathrooms and shower house.

Had reservation on the river side. Once I got there, I was moved to the entrance. (Without any explanation) what they told me was that someone was there already. In the morning those campers left leaving the site open again. I went back to the officer and they told me someone was going to that site. I spoke to the manager Madison she was useless.cause all she kept doing was rolling her eyes and sucking her teeth as I explained to her the situation. She didn't do anything about it and all she kept saying was that site wasn't available.. I camp all the time and this place really made me feel like I was being treated differently because of my race.. (Phyllis and May were very friendly and they try their best but unfortunately management needs to improve)

Be prepared. This was our first, and last stay. On the morning of our trip, I called and left messages regarding correct directions to their place. Answering machine(common pattern), no return call. I emailed with no response. About an hour out, I used Facebook messenger...it worked! They had zero record of our trip and they insisted we had wrong campground. I had to send a screenshot of our confirmation email. We were shocked when we pulled into our overgrown sites. The common sites along with the transient sites have weeds up to your knees. We actually lost our first set up day because our sites needed to be mowed. It was apparent they were not expecting us (after complaining they did send someone the next morning to mow). The mosquitoes are horrible!! Make sure to layer up and bring tons of bug spray!!! It's very hard to get anyone on the phone and our only saving grace was was FB messenger throughout our stay. The bathroom was very clean(zero hot water to wash your hands) along with the pool (we did not use showers so no review of them). Don't expect to use gameroom much or purchase items from campstore, they do not hold regular hours(we had to find places to buy wood and ice). Very hit or miss. This campground has so much potential but appears to be unkempt on purpose. Like they are going out of their way to devalue the land (this review will help them if that is indeed the case). It's really sad, it was probably a beautiful place once and has the potential to be a beautiful place again, if the owners cared.

We’ve been camping there for many years and same with my in-laws. But even my children love going there for the summer. The staff is helpful and we will continue to enjoy the campsite. We have made some great friends.

The campsites seems like it haven’t been maintained in a bit, too much grass and tree limbs all over the place. Needs to be cleaned out! Also mosquitos were too much since the campsites are not cleaned from the grasses tree limbs growing all over the sites. Other wise the location is great along with the pool.

Lots of room on the sites was very happy, showers nice have lots of showers, but told staff about the bathrooms with the toilets overflowing when one person flushes they all fill up. They didnt seem to care and only because of that I don't think we will ever be back.

Very buggy. Our site was covered in pine cones and needles, had to borrow a rake to clean it up before being able to set up. Our shoes and the dog ended up covered in sap. Office staff was very pleasant.

We stayed for 4 nights in the middle of July. We could not really stay outside cause there were too much mosquitos. The pool and the site in the open field were nice. Too bad we could not really enjoy because of the mosquito problem. I did not like the pine areas. To dark and road were too narrow for my truck/travel trailer. The camping needs maintenance work. Will not return.

Stayed for the first time 4th of July weekend. The staff were very nice/friendly. The site was flat and grassy. Pet friendly. Bathrooms could use a little update. Showers had plenty of room with the attached changing area. Pool was big and had a new liner, very nice. Just reserved same site for labor day weekend.

Beautiful place ... Excellent service... Staff was top notch... And owner was very friendly and helpful... Every need we had she personally saw to it that we were happy... I had an excellent time and I will return

Some really nice people run this campground, they were honest and fair. The campground was clean and open. Like most campgrounds in the area, it was like grassy parking lot with tents, cabins and RVs lining the perimeter. We prefer more rustic campgrounds with wooded, secluded sites. Be aware, the bathrooms and showers behind the main office could use some updating. The sinks in the shower house may not have worked, I say may not because the whole time I was there they were so dirty and filled with hair, bugs and other debris I wouldn't get close enough to try. It's good if you're staying in a rental with a private bathroom and okay as a last resort for a couple of nights.
