We spent a night at Scotia Pine Campground on our way home to Ontario in a small trailer. The spot we were assigned was clean and nicely grassed. Despite the warm fall weather, the pool was disappointingly closed when we arrived in mid afternoon. Plenty of family-oriented amenities. We were a little surprised at the late quiet time (midnight to 8 am), but had no issues at all with noise. Bathrooms were clean but unheated, making the shower a real quickie first thing in the morning! One other rule that caught us off guard - no mats outside the trailer. We use a mat to minimize dirt being tracked in, but I agree that this rule did help preserve the nicely grassed campsite. We drove past the tenting sites, which were nicely wooded and separated from the trailer and seasonal sites. Our site had only a small row of trees at the back. Edit for clarity: the heated pool was closed for the day when we arrived at 4 pm. As it was an unseasonably warm day, we were really looking forward to the only possible swim of our trip.

We visited Scotia Pine Campground in September. Available washrooms and and showers. There's not alot to do on site. Traffic is loud with to highways and railway very close. A positive is the Shubie wildlife park is 20 minutes away. We will probably not visit this Campground again.

We really enjoy this spot. The lots without P/W are way up in the woods and beautiful. Playgrounds & pool. They also have live music on the weekends. Its one of our favorite spots! Bathrooms are clean and accessible.

Spot is very nice and well kept campground. Quiet time is 12am which is a good time that accommodates a lot of people I'm assuming, who doesnt want to sit by a fire till midnight and shoot the shit. Washrooms are kept clean. Only issue I found which does not reflect on the campground itself, was there was a person in the men's washroom that was taking a "bird bath" out of the sink instead of using the shower. Also had his clothes in one of the other sinks that he was washing. Wasn't expecting to see that so caught off guard. Other than that, the spot is great and people are very friendly. In regards to what I EXPLAINED ABOVE this may be a one off thing and DOES NOT REFLECT ON THE CAMPGROUND! Plenty of playgrounds for kids, tractor rides, along with a heated pool. Its close to truro or halifax for day adventures. Great spot to be based out of. Showers work great plenty of hot water, pay to use showers .25 cents for 3 minutes which is on par with other campgrounds that utilize pay to use showers. All in all it was good and would recommend. We rented one of the 2 cabins which is great for us. Cabins will need some tlc soon but they still serve their purpose well. I'd suggest bringing a small heater with you if you plan to use them in the colder months where temps drop overnight just to take the chill off. I don't mind sleeping in the cold so it didn't bother us. Family of 4 would be tight to fit in there if it was raining only 1 small table, but for a couple or people who are working on the road these cabins work perfect 👌. You could get a family of 4 in there but it would be tight but definitely possible. Still not the end of the world just pack accordingly. All in all I'd recommend this campground!!

We stayed here for several nights while we explored the Halifax area. While sites were close together, they were pull throughs which were easy to access. And there were some trees for shade and a little privacy. Sites were level - we had site #71 - a three service site with 50 amp power, which was nice. We were also close to the laundry and had some open space in front of us. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Lots of 3way pull though lots. Very well kept campground. Washrooms/ Showers clean and well kept. We will be back for sure.

Amazing first campground for my friends and I were all early 20s and this place will be our spot! Placed right by bathrooms and enclosed by trees couldn't of asked for a better weekend. See u again scotiapine!

I stayed over 20 nights in this campground, both in the tent and in its only fancy cabin. Clean and decent coin-operated washrooms. Staffs are friendly and helpful. It's close to the city Truro and it has its own store. It offers choices of weekly or monthly stays with discounts.
