I have very mixed feelings about this place. I'm a solo young female traveler so I can be a bit picky. The roads are horrendous, no point in having speed bumps when you have a gazillion potholes. Haven't checked out the lake but there is a very nice bike path to walk your dogs behind the campground (it's public). Hazel at the front desk was amazing and helped me extend my stay. And security was great when my neighbors woke me up at 1am. The trees need trimmed I'm scared to look at my roof after hearing huge branches fall on my RV. I'm not sure why they are spending so much on their storage area when the rest of the campground is in despair. I'm not sure who is in charge of cleaning the restrooms but they need to find a new job. They are disgusting. I had to usher a bird out of the bathhouse #2 because they leave the doors open to ventilate because the drainage sucks. I love the area and the staff but the campground itself need A LOT of help. I personally will not be returning unless I need to.

First off I'll preface this with saying, the campground is in a good location. The roads are in terrible condition and not paved, just sand, potholes as big as a small car. When it rains the potholes fill with water. The area has poor drainage, but the campground should be grading and filling the holes with at least gravel. Don't try to use the camp store or game room ( clubhouse) after Labor Day. The pool closes one week after Labor Day. The front guard shack has very nice staff. The permanent seasonal residents seem very friendly to transient guests. Most seasonal sites appear clean and maintained. There are few sites with sewer apparently. Yet I observed many empty sewer sites. I asked on the phone if we could get a sewer site. My reservation through the Thousand Trails membship only had non sewer sites, but the representative told me to request a sewer site upon arrival or phone ( the day of check in) so I did. I had to call 5x to get an office staff on the line. The after hours number is incorrect. The office staff ( Hazel) was super unprofessional. She was also rude and condescending in person. I'm not sure why we were treated poorly. I was only asking if a sewer site was available at check in. Hazel stated that the sites are assigned by Thousands Trails and cannot be changed. I know that this is not true, because many times at other corporate parks, we've been upgraded to a sewer site easily. Her customer service portrayed the park in a negative way. The other office staff ( a lady) was more helpful. That staff suggested I check back daily for a sewer site. There is no need to treat guests unkind. I was just following protocol from Corporate Thousand Trails. They only have a pump out truck once a week after Labor Day. The Thousand Trails sales representative was very cordial and knowledgeable. Our site lost water after being there 5 days. There was trash on our site when we arrived. I will not return to this campground. The sewage dump station at the front of the park was out of order. That left only 1 dump station available at the front. The campground needs to address these issues. This is just my personal experience. I've traveled in Thousand Trails campgrounds for 5 years and have never been treated this poorly. I hope that no other guests are treated in this manner. Kindness matters.

This is a really nice and peaceful for the most part campground. I have noticed the more rowdy and in my opinion inconsiderate campers are the seasonal ones. Holding large gatherings and basically acting like they are back in their house neighborhoods. Hey to each their own. Just not my idea of enjoying outdoors. Very large campground. The best camp store I've been to so far. Clean showers. Definitely a return to campground.

Sea Pines is truly our happy place. My wife and I come here to unwind and escape the fast pace of city life. The atmosphere is peaceful, serene, and beautifully nestled among the trees. We especially enjoy the lake and pool, and the easy access to the nearby bike trail is a major plus. The beach and boardwalk are just minutes away, making it easy to enjoy the best of the area. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly, contributing to the welcoming environment. We have a seasonal site here and plan to return for many years to come. We highly recommend Sea Pines as a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We rented a “deluxe” cabin here for a week. The AC units were not working and it turned out to be the hottest week of the year and HUMID. When I went to office to say something they knew what cabin we were in before I said it and then they brought us some barely functioning portable AC units. We couldn’t even run them at the same time as a fan because it kept blowing a fuse. So we had to limit them to only being run in the bedrooms during the night. There was also no hot water and absolutely no water pressure, good luck getting shampoo out of your hair. The potholes are insane, I couldn’t imagine pulling a trailer through here, you could definitely break something. The planned kids activities were bare minimum and didn’t have locations for them. Sure, the store has everything, but at 3x the price. Better off running down to the ACME 2 min away. The location is great but that being said there are several campgrounds on this stretch of road, stay somewhere else and get your moneys worth. I could’ve paid half the price for a tent site and been better off than stuck in the hot box of a cabin with no AC on a week were it was 100+ with humidity in the 80% range.

I have dealt with so many problems while over at sea Pines with the seasonal people were there all the time we hang up on you and complain for no reason cause they just don’t want you there cause they think it’s their street in their land and their property and they can do whatever they want. The roads are horrendous. I’ve gotten a flat tire and I asked for reimbursement and still have not heard anything back and apparently you’re not allowed to leave your camper past 1159 so you’re pretty much have a curfew even when you’re there you’ll get a citation for $32 so if you go to Wawa, you might come back with a citation if you’re at the beach if you’re at a bar if you’re out with friends, you might get a citation

This place is definitely one of our least favorite in the entire network. The sites are not taken care of, the front office is full of rude employees, they blame everything on "corporate" and take no responsibility for their poorly ran "campground", and have no idea how to measure site sizes in order to fit larger rigs. When it rains this place turns into a pool, you have to be careful driving around or you could rip your stabilizers off, and on and on. If you're thinking of staying here, I would recommend Acorn, or Lake and Shore, or Sun Resorts/Retreats for outside of the TT network. This place is a total mess, please think twice before paying to stay here, or booking here if you've never been.

Overall disappointing. If you are considering Thousand Trails membership please do yourself a favor and do some research. The campground needs improvements and updates. Bare minimum schedule for kids activities. There’s no kids recreation room. The adult lounge looks closed with sign on door saying reserved. Arcade games half broken and half outdated by about 40 years. The bathrooms are usable but you’re praying you don’t catch anything. The staff needs some training. The most unfriendly staff I have encountered through Thousand Trails. Overall disappointing. A little effort and kindness could go along way at this campground.

Came in last night. Yesterday afternoon we received a call to confirm our reservation we said we would be a late arrival & they told us arrive before 11. We arrived at 1045 and were told we would have had to arrive before 10 to go to our site. We stopped for groceries and firewood so we wouldn’t have to leave once settled in but if we were told prior that we needed to be in BEFORE 10pm we would have parked first then gone for our groceries. Each campsite blames corporate but none of the campsites have the same rules. I’m annoyed it’s an inconvenience and the lack of information that was shared to us is not our fault. Also the dangers of parking after 10pm because it’s dark is silly because it’s dark 9-10pm anyways which is apparently an ok time to arrive and go to the site. This is an annoying start to my Mother’s Day weekend and this could have 100% been avoided.

Nice campground, stayed in a rental cabin with my family. The rental units are great for what we needed but in need of an update. Our couch in unit 148 was fake leather and was flaking/peeling so it was annoying to sit on. Also, the website says double bed so we brought linens for a double bed, but our room had a queen mattress. That was a bit annoying. Location wise is great, 15 min from the Wildwood boardwalk. Our family enjoyed the pool, the lake and chatting with the seasonal campers!

We loved Sea pines. The kids loved the pool which was clean and open late. Also the beach swim area was a hit and my oldest loved fishing. Staff are really helpful and nice. The bathrooms could use some updating but other than that it's great. Can't wait to go back next summer!
