We have made a stay at Sea Pirate CG with our travel trailer our first and last trip of the season for a couple of years now. We enjoy the location, the staff is friendly and the grounds are always well kept. Sadly, when we stay its a tad too cold to us the beautiful pool and hot tub! But renting a golf cart is always on our agenda! And there's a great Mexican restaurant right outside the entrance! Thank you for a great stay! See you in the spring!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sea Pirate Campground! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. We were fortunate to have a site toward the back, which offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—exactly what we were looking for.The campground is also veteran-friendly, which adds to its charm and community spirit. We will definitely be back for another visit! Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

Sea Pirate Campground is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—everyone was so friendly and helpful. The campground itself is clean, well-maintained, and packed with activities to keep the whole family entertained. There’s so much to do both on-site and in the surrounding area, which made every day exciting. Our two dogs had a blast exploring the campground, and our two-year-old couldn’t have been happier—especially during the trick-or-treating around the campground. It was such a fun and safe experience for the kids, and it really made our trip special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, explore, and create memories. Sea Pirate Campground is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to again and again!

We stayed for a week and we loved it!! Staff was great, the amenities and events were great. Always something to do! Great pool area with a great store and food. The beach was 20 minutes away and lots of different places to eat. We will definitely be back!! A little bit of all of the good stuff you would want on a family vacation.

Started my 10th year camping at sea pirate. Best campground in New Jersey. All of my stays there I've never had a problem cabins ,maintenance, the staff the campground is always kept clean. The pool is phenomenal. The cabins are always clean, air condition works great didn't have a problem at the bathhouses. had plenty of hot water for showers. As far as the bugs. Your staff is doing everything they can to maintain that problem. But bugs are bugs going to have that problem here or with any campground It happens. Your staff is excellent. And are doing a great job maintaining and keeping the campground clean. Had a great time looking forward to returning

So. I have been here for three days during to scorching heat! Honestly, I really can not Find one thing to complain about that is within the abilities of the campground and what they can control. The green heads are vicious. I will not lie, but that’s beyond their control. We r in a vintage 1968 Nimrod trailer so we did buy a portable air conditioner from Walmart but that was no more than 5 minutes down the road. Pool area is kept immaculate. Fantastic water slide, the kids loved it. Plenty of activities to keep kiddos busy! Hannah is amazing! Highly recommend! They are expensive, but it is a true camping resort! You get what you pay for here! Final day still 5 stars!!!!!!

We were just visiting for the day. They recently upgraded the pool area and raised their day guest pass prices from $10 per day to $20 per day. The campground itself looks like a nice place to stay if you have a trailer or just want to rent a cabin or tent on one of their tent sites. Some of the cabins are marked as pet friendly and others are not to accommodate folks that may have allergies to pets. That was a good touch!

I have been staying at this campground for years! I have come here with family and made a lot of memories. One thing I do wish was better was the wifi, yes I understand it is a campground but during the day the 5g network works perfectly fine but then randomly disappears on my TV at night. Overall great atmosphere, & staff, just wish it could be better.

I wanted to like Sea Pirate, but there was one blaring issue: cold showers, that are mostly unusable unless you're an adult. I can't imagine what led the management to install shower controls that are basically to outside public beach hosedowns. 1) Every shower is a push button that my kids did not even have the strength to press, then 2) you get about 4 seconds of water per push—if saving water was your goal, you've done the opposite since I'm not showering with one hand—and even when you run the water for OVER 10 minutes, 3) you get something that might be 4º warmer than tap. And the problem is NOT the water heaters or set temperature, every sink faucet was scalding hot after my 10 minutes wait, but every single shower in the place was the same story. I have been to $15 National Forest Campgrounds with push buttons showers that would have been an absolute treat compared to this. But this is a private re$ort campground for families!!! I mean, what?? On top of that, they advertise a hot tub. It was cold as ice. We didn't have high expectations visiting before Memorial Day and although it's only in the welcome pamphlet, the words, "heated pool," was used, but cold as well. We even tried spring wet suits for 15 minutes, unsuccessfully. *sigh* Besides that, this place would be a gem. We felt secure and secluded with our site. We LOVED the way they put, "a family, two adults, and your children under the age of 18," in their rates description, instead of the usual "6 people per site", where you feel like a vagrant family just because you have 5 kids. The theming of the place is super charming, and the camp store is Incredibly well stocked! Alas, we left with a bad taste—when you're staying for more than a night or two, showers are needed.

My family & I had such an amazing stay at Sea Pirate. The first day I have to say wasn't ideal, however we did come during a Nor Easter. So I really can't blame them for the high wind & high tides, that's simply the chance you take when you are camping so close to the water. On to the positives! 1: Bathrooms Super Clean 2: Staff super friendly & helpful 3: The pool was open in OCTOBER & heated 4: Lots of fun activities for the kids 5: Campsites were spacious & clean We will definitely be back!!

Friendly staff, lots of fun activities planned that are family friendly. Price is great, pool is warm. We have stayed in a deluxe cabin which fit 2 adults and 2 children comfortably and we were upgraded our second weekend to a Captains Cottage and it is beautiful! Lots of room and super cozy, can’t wait to do a week in the summer!
