The friendliest people and spacious full-hookup sites make this a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Lots of activities and the entire park with fishing piers provides plenty to keep busy. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. We'll be back!

Beautiful location, Rv park is beside Kaufer-Hubert park, close to water. great walking areas, small lake in center-very helpful staff. Nice that it is away from a city, Rivera though is close by with some good amenities- large grocery store is 1/2 hr away.

Loved it. Will be coming back. Close to the Kaufman park and fishing pier. RV park was clean and nice. People and management were nice.

We stayed 2 nights . It’s right next to the Baffin Bay but you had to walk clear around the chain link fence to get to the water. There is a boat ramp near by. But that is the only thing near by. You have to drive 16 miles to a gas station for coffee. If you want groceries its about 23 miles. The campground is run by a nice lady but there is no wifi that will work in your rv, no cable and the antenna only picks up a few channels. Even my cellular data wouldn’t work out there as it’s in a bad spot for verizon. I was nearly stuck in the shower room, the door sticks. I had to ram the door with my whole body to get out. Would I stay again? No I like technology too much.

BREED SPECIFIC DOG RULES!!!!! We stayed three days at this campground as Passport America members. It is right on the bay and our site backed up to a small effluent pond (recycled waste water). The sites are relatively close together. They have a recreation building with regular activities scheduled including live music although we did not find the people friendly enough to feel comfortable joining the activities. They also have a small library for book and movie borrowing. There is not much to do in the area. This campground is owned by Kleberg County and the campground does not allow pit bulls although I called the county and was told the county does not have a ban on pit bulls. Breed specific rules are racist as the stereotypical owners are not middle class and white. We will not stay here again. UPDATE: Received response from campground. They obviously have poor reading comprehension. Try harder.
