Sebago Lake State Park Campground

This was a very well kept campground with lots of fancy amenities—water, bathrooms, ice and wood for sale. I think you can even pay for wifi. Easy lake access as well and the lake was huge!! Keep in mind that this is not very secluded, campsites are close together, and you will be surrounded by people. Still, everyone was very nice and it wasn’t loud. We still felt like we had our own space. Every site has a fire pit, some have hookups. Most are drive in but there were a few hike in sites that were more private. Lots of people were there with RVs, which isn’t my personal favorite but seems very common here in the summertime (we camped here in august).

Wow!!! I use to go there every summer as a kid, best campground ever we would stay 2 weeks I’m 66. Sooo, it’s been 57 years since I was there. The ratings are still high after all these years. I’m so happy you are still open.

This is good family-friendly campground, especially for beginners. My wife and I were nervous since it was our first time camping but after staying a few days, we enjoyed the experience and would do it again. What’s really nice is that they have a beautiful lake and amenities such as a dishwashing station and trash disposals. We appreciated how they have bathrooms and showers. They are not 5-star but it’s good and cleaned daily(you are camping, so it is a luxury to have a bathroom). There are daddy-long-legs all over the place but they are hardly an annoyance. We went during late summer so that could contribute to how we didn’t deal with a lot of critters. When you prepare well, camping here can be a fun trip with friends. Overall, we’d come back

This place is terrible. The campsites are on top of one another. If you are tent camping, all through the night you're going to smell somebody's campfire that they didn't bother to put out. If reviewers write this is a great place, it's because they attach their house to a huge truck and park it where they have one of those ridiculous loud crappy boats. People let their rude kids run wild. Loud obnoxious jet skis and boats constantly cover the lake... it smells of diesel. Tourists took a beautiful place and destroyed it. The staff are amazing, I don't know how they put up with these people. I will never come back here.

Have always loved camping here for the week of July 4th. Been coming for about 7 years in a row. But this year the atmosphere was completely different. The rangers were all over the campers and made everyone feel watched. They did not allow sparklers on the beach like every other year I have been there which ruined the evening for my children. They dispersed every gathering I attended before quiet hours even began. New rules have been put in place about visitors as well. One of the female rangers at the front gate was also very rude. I'm disappointed that my beloved campground has come to this.

Visited during off season to volunteer raking. Had a pleasant hike and walk. Beautiful when the crowds are gone, and the lake is calm without boat traffic. (We have visited many times before during summer seasons and it was also lovely but of course more crowded.)

Duck with a view. Mallory made for the most comfortable spot on the beach to fall asleep in the sun and listen to the small waves crashing. If you can get there early enough to beat the afternoon rush you’re guaranteed a beautiful view. Lots of children and families. Clean bathrooms. Also a busy snack bar during certain hours.

This state park is a jewel. Campsites are spacious, level, and within a well maintain forest environment. The beach and swimming area is great for children and adults alike. Restroom/Showers were clean and well cared for. Sebago Lake is gorgeous and the roadways and sites around the lake are an added pleasure to a visit here.

Beautiful State Park. It's great for The whole family to enjoy. It's become our favorite place. There's a ton of picnic tables and open areas to set up your own chairs blankets and such. There's grills available to use and if you're not up for that there's a little snack shack. The burgers are pretty tasty. Make sure you have bug spray and sun screen. I highly suggest visiting Sebago Lake State Park!
