Seminole Campground
Charming park with canopy of Florida trees and the Popash Creek meandering through. Remote enough to be a welcome break from urban life, but close enough to enjoy nearby Fort Myers and the Gulf of Mexico.

Leaving a review so no one else waste their time they do not allow children and know their website does not state they do not allow children. They even have the nerve to say it’s a family tradition to stay there. It seems like every campground in Southwest Florida hates children forgetting that they either have children or were once children . Campgrounds and RV parks only cater to snowbirds or adults forgetting that most people have a family Which includes children. . The campgrounds that do allow children are full of druggies or charge $3000 a month. So yes it’s a beautiful campground we drove through it its quiet has shade and nature even have signs for kids playing but don’t let it fool you . It might be nice campground but not If you’re a parent of children you are discriminated against.

Great camp, I75 noise is evident and a little annoying but not impactful on our walks nor sleep. They say no children, but they’re here in the camp and pool. Great pet walking area. Park is comfortable with endless breeze and shaded sites.

If I could leave a zero I would. They allow dogs, but don't tolerate them. I travel with a large German shepherd. Who is medically necessary. That being said. He is a German Shepherd, people are afraid of Shepard's. I get it. I went to the office to ask for staff to let me know when they would be coming by my site. Half way into the stay I was asked to leave. Because of my dog making accusations that the dog was aggressive. I guess you have to understand a Shepard. If he was 20 pounds and barked all would of been ok. The sites are very narrow and you are packed in tight. The pool very nice as well as the rest of the facilities. They really need to have a weight limit on dogs to not inconvenience other travelers.

My parents have stayed here a few times in their RV while visiting family in Fort Myers. I stayed for a few months this winter and loved it. The trees and creek are beautiful. We saw a gator and an otter while we were there. The pool is amazing. The bathrooms are the best I’ve experienced on this trip. Loved having access to a workout room and a small trail/dog walk. The staff is attentive. There is a little community with regular activities and live music if you’re into that. We liked it so much that we kept extending our stay and they were always very accommodating. It was the first RV park I’d stayed at and since leaving and seeing what the rest of the country has to offer, I really miss life at Seminole.

Staff and facilities were incredibly clean and well maintained. Only stayed for two nights, but could easily and comfortably stay for months. They have a number of social events throughout the week. Quite time does not start until 11pm. Just FYI, if you like to get to bed at 9am.
