This is a beautiful park. We stayed in cabin 8 (rustic cabins). This is several miles back nestled into the woods near the river. This is the best way to detox from the hustle and bustle of electronic connection. We happened to see the mountain laurel in full bloom and the rhododendrons coming into bloom. We saw lots of fawns and deer. The weather was off and on rain but we had plenty of time to do everything we wanted to do. We saw Ghost Pipes (wild flowers), many beautiful fungi, and many other natural beauties. The site and cabin were very clean. They come furnished with all pots/pans/utensils and dishes some that are for outside and some for inside. The wood comes with the cost of the camping. The latrine with the cabin was clean. There are 2 showers (free of charge) at the ranger station area. The staff are very knowledgeable about the grounds and the area. They are welcoming. I highly recommend Seneca State Park for people of all ages. Also the kayaks, paddle board, and row boats are free to use with your stay.

Seneca State Forest Campground is a beautiful and clean little campground tucked away among the trees. I live literally 5 miles from the campground and always have to stay at least once a year at my favorite site #7. It’s small enough that big campers can’t get in but you will still find that guy that will manage to get his camper wedged up in a site just to run a generator all day. That’s anywhere you go though. That’s why I built my rig to get far away from people. Doesn’t take away from this campground though. Love it!

Tucked away in the mountains, just beyond Green bank. We stayed in a rustic cabin with only gas lights and no running water. There was an old wood cook stove which was a new challenge to use. We enjoyed this new experience. It's a complete dead zone.

Wonderful experience in Cabin 5. Especially liked the wood cooking stove, single room with screened in porch, with view of lake. Complimentary wood, kayaks, canoes and rowboats. Wish the fishing had been better, but very good hiking trails and Greenbrier River trail access only a few minutes drive.

Stayed in cabin 8 and had a blast! Easy access to the Greenbrier river, very secluded and well kept cabin. Relaxing atmosphere and we were very pleased to find out we had access to the boats at the lake with the rental of the cabin. Would highly recommend!
