Unattended campground owned by Limestone Ministries. Spots are gravel and the one we are in is very level. We are in spot number 8. We are here for a week while hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail and other than a little road noise or distant train, it is quiet. Pool is not open yet. Bathroom and showers are on the read of the main building. Shower is similar to a gym setup with a long bench in the dressing area. Needed a good cleaning from the dead bugs in there, but water was hot and plentiful. We have seen a few people pop in for just a night and so far we're usually the only ones here. Staying May 11-May 18, 2025. Camper is 38 feet with our ramp/porch down and 20 more feet of tow vehicle and we had enough space to easily fit. Electric is 50/30/20. Water at sites 1-11 and dump station is really nice on a large concrete pad.

Nice small camp, no water spigots. Some sites are to small others pretty good, went early season, so shade wasn't an issue. Some sights quite exposed to the sun. Fun stuff nearby.

Nice campground, sites have table, fire pit/grill (but do to nearby fires, that we never seen or smelled, we couldn't use them) and our spot had decent shade. Restrooms are basic vault toilets with plenty t.p. Limestone is close to tha river, just a short trek away. Stars at nite were beautiful...even saw shooting stars. Be careful though, we had a bear encounter... nothing major but did affect the trip.

Very organized. Everything is organized and spaced out. There’s 19 camp spots within the grounds and they’re an all sectioned out each with its own parking spot each with Its own picnic bench and fire pit. *be advised you may not be able to have a camp fire depending on the season** it has 4 large dumpsters at the entrance and 4 small community bathroom / outhouses. We reserved space 13 & 14 and upon inspection 14 is very small. Almost too small. But 13 fairly large! Enough for 4 tents and canopy. One tree for shade access to water but no actual path, you make your own.

Site 18, great shade all day long and so close to the water but due to rushing water I’d refrain from going for a swim. Unfortunately there were many flys due to the trash and the smell of the restrooms that haven’t been cleaned in a long time. I would recommend a decent amount fly traps and a pop up net for the table. Site 1, is very small and is right between the 4-5 big trash bins and the toilets. Id personally wouldn’t pay the 32 dollars for our site considering the conditions. As for the restrooms, non flushable toilets that were poorly kept during our stay. No sinks to wash your hands or running water as well as no bear boxes.

excellent for camping kayaking or hiking highly recommended.

This campground needs to be reservation only. It’s amazing but often at capacity and quite a drive to get to without a guarantee of a spot

Great trip. Vault toilet and no water spigot but near lake beach. The sound of the river was amazing
