Very nice place. Quiet, clean and people are so friendly. Took the grandkids there for a little weekend away. Pool was great! We were in a drive thru site with full hook ups which was great! Will be going back there again.

My partner and I camp with a group of 7 to 9 other senior couples with a variety of motorhomes and campers at a variety of campgrounds 7 or 8 weekends for 3 to 5 or 6 days every summer. We book our sites all at once so that they are all close to each other so we can enjoy our friends company. We rarely ever have a problem when we get there as we book well ahead and make our needs very clear when booking. I was compelled to write a review about our last camping experience this past weekend as a warning to others who may wish to stay at Serenity Hills. We booked our 8 sites the 1st of March, 2021 in the same spots we had last year which we were told would be no problem. We had paid cash last year at their request after we got there but this year some time after we had booked they requested a cheque in advance in order to hold our spots . We have never been asked to pay in advance so it was discussed among us and we paid it. The problem with this is that they have our money and we get there and they have let two other campers camp in two of our spots and they refuse to move so we were told two of us would have to camp in other sites, one close by and one very far from the group and if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else. We had too many other issues to mention but decided to stay and argued until they let us double up and be together. Had we not payed in advance we would have left because the attitude of the staff was totally disrespectful and rude especially considering we were planning to stay 3 nights at 8 sites. That will be our last time at this campground!!

This was our second time at Serenity Hills Renfrew. It was a very stressful and unpleasant experience this time. We had requested 7 sites at the time of booking in March and upon arrival we did not get the sites we booked. They had given some of our sites to other people. The owners were not very pleasant and made absolutely no attempt at apologizing. I certainly would not recommend this campground to anyone.
