Lovely campground and a short walk to the river which is beautiful. The area by the river is so pretty and they have some really neat cabins. Park is very clean, sites are pull through which is so convenient for us transients and very level. Water and electric at our site with a dump station conveniently located near by. Garbage and recycling are also convenient. The seasonal sites all look clean and well kept. My only "complaint" is the highway noise but that's not the campground's fault at all. Overall, a great park!

I had the absolute best experience at this beautiful private campground! When I arrived at 6pm, I followed the super clear and detailed signs to ring the doorbell upon arrival, which made checking in completely stress free. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating! She provided a detailed map and highlighted the facilities such as the bathrooms, showers, laundry room, pool & the wifi password. She was very informative, professional and really kind, going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, making this whole experience very welcoming. The campground was beautiful, well maintained and very quiet despite being on the highway. I was really impressed with how spotless the bathroom and shower facilities were! They were clearly cleaned regularly which made such a difference to have a fresh, clean space to get ready each day. You can tell they really take pride in their campground with the level of care they put into it. I chose a tent site right beside the river and it was perfect. Very relaxing, peaceful and the view was breathtaking. I specifically loved how pet friendly this campground is! I have 2 dogs and they had the best time. I originally planned to stay just one night, but I loved it so much that I decided to extend my stay and will be definitely returning in the future!

A very nice campground with very helpful and friendly owners! The pool and the washrooms are very clean and freely available to all guests. The location right by the river is beautiful and perfect for swimming and boating. Even with my tent, I was able to get electricity and running water. Highly recommended!

Turned up at 8pm, I didn’t have a reservation and the store was closed, but the office was open until 9. Check in was a breeze. Really friendly lady helped us. Pull through site was easy. Showers and washrooms spotless. Nice surprise to find a pool and no extra charge. Had a lovely evening walking down by the river. All in all, a great little spot that exceeded my expectations

Serpent River campground is very conveniently located right off of highway 17. It's a mix of seasonal and transient sites. Everyone was very friendly. The check-in was efficient and we were provided with security codes for the gate as well as the laundry room. We walked around the park a few times. There's a great spot beside the river to sit and relax. There's canoe and kayak rentals available. The pool wasn't open yet as still too cold, but it's big and looks very nice. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

The park was easy to find. It is located right beside highway 17 just east of the little town of Spragge. There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. The interior roads are gravel and big rig friendly. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, B1, was a pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, and water only) were to the left side. Distancing is fair for a rural park. Most sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was well manicured. Transient campers are parked close to the front thus some highway noise is present. Seasonal guests, and there are a lot, are farther back towards the river. There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not find any OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There is a playground for children and it appears there are Canoe Rentals available by the river. There are no restaurants or stores (other than the very small one at the campground office) within easy walking distance but 18 Km away it the town of Elliot Lake or 26 Km to Blind River where you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be very over priced because of the very limited services available as an overnighter. We paid $62.14 (inc tax) per night and we feel we received poor value. This is a $40.00 park. Having said that, the competition are charging similar prices. It is obvious to us that their business plan is to cater to their seasonal guests and we transients are a bother, thus, charge the heck out of us so we stay away. We will not be back.

Amazing hosts!!! Friendly and very accommodating. The park itself is Immaculately clean and very well maintained. The sites are big and easily accessible. Definitely one of the best RV Trailer parks on Trans-Canada highway. Thank you for your hospitality !

Arrived after a long day of travel and were not told about the wifi services being down and will not be fixed until next week. No rate reduction on campground fees offered. Booked this one as we needed wifi for some important reasons. Disappointing
