We had a great time here. We have stayed here before, but this time was for our honeymoon. Seven Mountains was great. Cabin was clean and they even got us roses to celebrate us getting married. We love it here and will be back.

Perfect weekend! Not far from state college, cabin we stayed in was clean upon arrival and the sheets on the beds were great too. The main campground bathroom I saw some people on reviews did not like, it could use an update eventually, but we personally did not mind, was better than some campground bathrooms we have seen. It is by the highway, but we knew that when we booked here and did not mind that either. Firewood and ice was conveniently located, and easy instructions to pay. Great communication from the campground too and loved that it had dog friendly cabins for our pup. Overall fantastic stay, and we definitely would come back here again!

Spotless, clean, tidy, and pretty campground. Dog friendly.. Wide variety of accommodations from camper/motor home full hook up sites, traditional tent sites, tiny homes, rustic log cabins. Small playground area for kids. Small store. Staff were super nice. Beautiful woodland scenery but right next to US 322 -- and that is very very loud. Easy on/off the highway. Convenient to State College & Penn State. Very nice campground. We stayed for a weekend.

Our group of 4 families were very pleased with Seven Mountains Campground. We had 2 cabins and 2 RV sites next to each other. The check-in process was super easy. They sent an email and text message. There was no need to stop at the office which was fantastic. The cabin we had was clean and had everything we needed. The staff(Jake) was super nice and helpful! We commented that Seven Mountains had to be one of the quietest campgrounds we had ever been at. Other reviewers commented on the noise from 322, but we didn't have that issue. We were in the middle of the campground though. We also weren't there during a Penn State Football home game. There isn't much to do at the campground, but we were just there to relax. The ice and wood is self serve. The amount of wood you get is great for the price. There are some unique places where they have put sites. So, some campers may want to make sure to look at the pictures of the sites. We would definitely recommend.

Great central location to Poe valley, Whipple dam, state college for anything you’re doing. Whether it’s exploring nature or coming for Penn state. The grounds are clean and well kept. The cabins we stayed in 72-73 were great. A/c, large mini fridge, fire pit, heater and lighting. The beds are a little stiff so I would recommend a topper or pad if you have back and joint problems. The playground was great for our kids 6-7-8-9 and the WiFi worked great for ours and their devices. The cabins we stayed it I would recommend to someone this mobility issues (wheel chair/ walker). There is no lip/ step for chairs or mobility aids to let caught on and can easily traverse the grounds from the cabin. Also the nearby swimming dam beaches offer wheelchair ramps to enter the water. The bathrooms and showers are kept clean and stocked. The only negative is the drainfield for this system seemed overloaded and had the one area soggy but this did not impede or effect our stay. I would recommend this to anyone with a tent/ camper or wanting to stay in a cabin and plan to stay here again this year and next.
