2nd visit to Shadow Ridge RV Resort. Both times we stayed for one month. Loved it! Amy and Sandy are the best. Ajo is a great little town, so walkable. Shadow Ridge is in a perfect location. No need for a vehicle, you can walk or cycle downtown or go the opposite direction to Napa and IGA. Great people wherever we went, the coffee shop at town centre, home owners eager to talk with us during our walks. It’s a quiet town with a few really good restaurants. RV wash, propane and fuel just steps from Shadow Ridge. If you enjoy cycling, there is a 24km loop which takes you around the old copper mine. Or, cycle out to the golf course and visit the regional park on the way. There were a couple of off grid campers parked out there. You will most likely see some Javelinas (look like 100 lb mouse/pig cross) roaming around.

Awesome people, owner was super helpful and friendly! Really clean facilities, full kitchen in the bunkhouse! Slept great tent camping, not much noise from road or rver’s.

We stayed 3 nights here while we visited Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and did some chores while traveling the southwest. The staff here are friendly and professional. The park is quiet. The short term travelers are usually placed in the first three rows. The remainder of the park seem like long term space rentals and mobile homes. The restrooms and showers were clean and stocked. There are two laundry buildings and the machines looked well maintained. There is a large club house which can accommodate a few family dinners. It has a BBQ and propane grill in the back yard, full kitchen, TV room, game room, library, etc. This building was also clean and maintained. Behind the Club house is a sweet little nature trail which is a nice walk to stretch your legs. You can walk to a couple markets, restaurants, and coffee houses from here. The wi-fi was average, good signal strength but slow speed due to numbers of users.

A no-frills RV park - exactly what the guests/residents want! The people/community are excellent, and the escape to nature is the main draw. The residents are mostly retired so the park is quiet at night and feels safe 24/7.

Very nice people. Site we were in was pretty narrow but we made it fit (35 foot trailer). Great place to stay to explore Organ Pipe.
