Place isn't to bad, it was a former mobile home park. There are lots of seasonal folks and people working . Site size varies drastically. Bath house needs an up date. Full hook ups with cable, everyone one is nice , if you're expecting a RV resort feel it's probably not for you . We were only there two nights as the reason for the stay was to visit the USS Alabama, we would stay again.

Had a great stay. Booked online no issues, no hassles. The overnight spots are all pull thrus with electric, water and sewer. We booked online and learned the office is closed on the weekends so no check in needed. Shady on the acres is accurate because there are trees. The acorns hitting our roof at night sound like gunfire. But NO complaints. Love it and will be back.

Husband and I moved here from Kentucky about 5 months ago and we love it here. It’s peaceful and quiet and everyone here is so nice. Only downside is fall is we were told we would have cable but we’ve been here 5 months and the cable has never worked. We just purchased an antenna because no matter how many times we ask for it to be fixed it never has. We were Also under the impression we would be able to go back to the water and the dock in the back but come to find out it was no longer apart of the campground which honestly kinda blows. It’s definitely not a resort but for the price and convenience to downtown Mobile it’s pretty nice :)

Stayed overnight on our trip from Texas in January. This campground is derelict, the "nature trail" is completely overgrown. We were given site 19, which is not on the map. It took us a while in the dark to find that our spot was a muddy patch at the entrance. For $50/night, this place was a joke. I wouldn't attempt to use the common restroom unless I wore a biohazard suit.

Yin and Yang. Light and dark. Chocolate and vanilla. Shady* Acres Campground and where we stayed last night. (*Shady everywhere except Slip 20, where we are unless we put out our awning, open an umbrella or throw ourselves under our bus) Nope, no shade here, except what I’m about to throw out on this place! Actually, as you can see in the pix, there’s lots of shade in the back 40 however these all appear to being term slips with the front couple of slips for one night stands. Fairly level and long gravel slips (easily accommodated our 55+ foot parade with room to spare). Full hookups including a rusty CATV wire that provided static on every channel found. 3-4 bars and the ubiquitous AT&T “5G” label which has provided steady steaming of TV (too lazy to deploy Dishy for one night stands) as well as 🏄. Given what we have seen from walking around, and the exterior of the office, we felt the laundry and bathrooms were better left unseen. Office was closed at 4 when we arrived so we don’t know about the internet-it looked like they have it but the reservation slip taped to the office door for us only had a bathroom code, no internet password. I think we paid $45, and it is supposedly a Good Sam site. We chose it because it was the only place with pull-thru sites in the Mobile area that had availability. I gave it a 3.5 out of 5.

Spent several months here and enjoyed our stay! Would definitely recommend. Office staff very nice and efficient..and felt safe with an onsite couple Mike and Kris who kept a watch on the park and was always helpful when you needed anything! Also close to downtown Mobile.

Nice small campground that lives up to its name. There is one lane with sites in full sun, but most have at least some shade from huge, beautiful oak trees. The sites are mostly level, gravel pads. We appreciated the very long pull-thru sites that share a pedestal/water/sewer area. Your front is next to the neighbor's tail end with the hookups between you. So your outside area doesn't have the next sites sewer in your area. There are no amenities, just a basic RV campground that's very easy to get in & out of...perfect for overnight stays since it's really close to I-10. We stayed for a week & experienced Mobile & surrounding areas. It is also nice & quiet!

Very peaceful and quiet campground. Nice big pull through lots. The owner went above and beyond to help us with a repair during our 1 night stay. So grateful for the guidance, this will be my first choice if we are in the area again. Thank you.

Mike and Chris are great! We arrived late afternoon and they were there to get us settled. A while later, I discovered that we had a problem with our TV. Mike and Chris were right there to help me troubleshoot and diagnose the problem. Turns out, it was the TV. Mike even offered to help me install the new TV. This great level of caring and attention went way beyond my expectations and was very much appreciated. Our stay was very pleasant and we are planning to return next year.

Nice small campground close to mobile. Several full time RVs that could use a bit of TLC. Truck across the street from us had flat tires and looks like it had been there for awhile. Staff super friendly and helpful staff = they want to “tidy” up however staffing is hard to find like everywhere these days. They have a small area for laundry and mail- we did not do laundry here so I can’t comment on that. We have a 41’ tow hauler and had lots of room to park with no tree issues. We walked our dog around the neighborhood and felt very safe - you do need to watch out for other animals though.
