We just wrapped up an amazing stay at Shady Acres, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The resort is clean, organized, and full of charm. The kids had a blast bouncing on the jumping pillow and splashing in the heated pool, while we enjoyed peaceful mornings with coffee by the lake. The staff were super helpful and kind—we had a small issue with our power hookup and it was fixed within minutes. Everything from the campsites to the shared areas was spotless and well-maintained. We especially loved the mix of fun and quiet—tons to do, but still space to relax. Whether you’re here with family, friends, or just need a break from the city, this place checks all the boxes. Can’t wait to come back next season!

I took my kids to the glow in the dark pool party that they held on the weekend. They had music, treats and lots of glow sticks! My kids loved it. Emily did a great job running it, she kept it upbeat and fun for the kids!

Shady Acres is a good option for people with small kids. They have a great park, wonderfully clean pools and a nice kids club on weekends. The roads are paved and kept very clean. I feel that the downside is no general store/Canteen , no restaurant, no recreation hall for more activities or laundromat. These improvements would enhance the park
