Shady Acres is pretty run down. Much like the surrounding area of town. Highly recommend the state park for a better beautiful experience. State park has full hookups as it has just recently been renovated. Wish we had looked into that first. But we had full hookups and served its purpose for the night.

The owner was very accommodating about my request to park the van overnight and get a shower in the morning. The connected laundromat was a pleasant surprise. I took a walk around town while my clothes were in the dryer and found a tasty breakfast burrito. Green River is a friendly small town.

I have stayed here before a few times, but that was over 4 years ago, and the place was always kept up nicely but not so much this time. Just dead weeds all around, one working shower that was filthy, no air in bath/shower room so it was like a sauna. Terrible place for the price, for even just an overnight, so will never stay here again.

Rating and review based a lot on the price I paid compared to what I got. $67… I was just looking for a quick and simple overnight from a long drive. Place was pretty run down but so is most of green river. Site they gave me for full hook up 26 ft RV was hard to get into, hook ups were usable but not great. Was surprised they put me in the spot they did given the place was basically empty. Did not use the bathrooms or showers so have no opinion on those. Was going to stay in the LOVES truck stop RV park but decided on Shady Acres just because figured it would be a bit better to park and relax than a LOVES but if had to do again would park at LOVES.$67 was a lot of money given greenriver is just wide spot in road and pretty run down as was Shady Acres..

Not so Shady Acres. We were there for 6 days and it was windy every day. No grass, no trees, not even a decent layer of gravel. Even though we kept the windows closed, everything is covered in dust. We left 2 days early. I added a star for them because they did refund me for the two days.
