I've had a permanent site at Shady Brook for 2 seasons now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions I’ve made. This place has truly become a home away from home. The staff is always friendly, professional, and quick to help with anything you need. From the first day, they made me feel like part of a community, not just another camper. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with clean facilities, well-kept sites, and plenty of space to relax. Whether you’re here for the weekend or the whole season, it’s clear the team takes pride in keeping everything in top shape. The amenities—like the pool, playgrounds, walking trails, and event nights—are a big bonus and help make every visit feel like a mini vacation. What really stands out is the sense of community among seasonal campers. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for each other, share laughs around a fire, and genuinely enjoy being part of the same campground family. If you're thinking about a seasonal or permanent site, I highly recommend Shady Brook. It’s peaceful, welcoming, and well-run—exactly what you want in a long-term camping spot.

We did not stay there because of my mix up with the locations of this one and another one 2 hours away, shady brook looks like it would be an amazing place to camp but it was a bit farther then we could manage to go, we hope to go someday as the manager/owner I’m not sure exactly Brenda was more then patient and more then responsive to my calls and messages, no problem when I had to cancel my reservation last minute and just over all a delight to speak with, thank you so much once again!

Just got home from weekend at Shady Brook Camp Ground, will definitely go back David makes you feel like family and so do other campers, cabin was so nice and camp ground is so peaceful, nice hiking trail

Loved it here!! Tent camped for a weekend and had a great experience. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and neighborly and the campground staff made sure we had everything we needed. Bathrooms were extremely clean and the showers were hot. At night the grounds are very quiet and you get a great view of the stars. Thank you for all of the hospitality and a great stay!!!

When we got there the owner Dave made us feel great. It's such a pleasure being there. Was nice to relax and hike, swim. The seasonal campers are also very friendly. Made new friends up there. Will definitely recommend and go back. There just 1 tiney thing, wish there was a game room for my teen's girls but otherwise excellent place.

Such an amazing experience, Dave comes and checks in on you regularly. Cabin was spotless, bathrooms are clean. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and come back again.

The owner was very nice to us and made our stay a very enjoyable and entertaining one. I would recommend this campground to everyone and we are going back there in two weeks. The bathrooms are very nice and the showers are even better. And the prices are even reasonable also.

This place is amazing place.. my first time camping.. with my five children.. they're still talking about it. The best experience. Dave made it wonderful. my kids have never been fishing. Dave made arrangement for it to happen for them.. great activities to do. Everybody is so friendly.. bathrooms were really clean. I definitely would recommend anyone that has children it's a great place. We will be back! Thank you for everything Dave! 😁

There are few places in this world that still have the customer service that this camp ground offer. Dave goes above and beyond every day to insure his guest have everything they need. He also has a wealth of the knowledge of the area and is always willing to help you plan your day and give very good directions. The other campers are also very friendly and willing to help doesn't matter if you are a permanent site or a weekend camper. I highly recommend this campground and will be back many times.
