Great community with nice people, the owners, however, are extremely selective and rude to their occupants, the reason i say selective is they pick who in their camp they dont like and make their lives difficult for the fun of it. roughly five years ago, the children of the people we were temporarily staying with, threw a party, this party was one of many that happen almost every single night at the resort and never face punishment, yet, she kicked out the man we were staying with, and when we got a place there, we received nothing but unfair punishment, we weren’t even at the party. we were receiving warnings for doing as much as opening our door to loudly at 10pm, while our neighbours had campfire songs until 3AM, then, this summer, we were just kicked out, for no reason. They raised prices commonly, for no foreseeable reason, and not to mention there is no residents of the resort who are people of colour, when there seems to be roughly 300+ white people in there.

This place is awful mike and christine dubois are awful people they treat people with zero to little respect and poorly run the camp ground. they are liars and horrible people I do not recomend going here.

So grateful to have snagged one of the 3 night by night spots at Shadybrook for 2 nights. We wish we could have stayed much longer!!! We were pleasantly surprised to get such a big lot with beautiful mature trees and plenty of room for both our 40’ fifth wheel and our 22’ truck. We loved being so close to the lake (1 minute walk if that) & having the marina to have friends pick us up via boat for the day. The dog parks & recycling were also appreciated. I enjoyed seeing dozens of deer meandering through the campground… they were not phased by me or my dogs on our morning walks which was neat. Would HIGHLY recommend Shadybrook and would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

It is a great community with great people and a great location. Which is why it is so sad that the management runs it so poorly. On top of being rude and disrespectful with a noticeable bias against certain residents, they turn to shady tactics to get their way. Threats of violence and fines for teenagers who “break the rules”. I put that in quotations because the rules are sporadic and change based on the resident and the circumstances. Do not even consider this place if you are looking for a fun summer destination because that is not at all what Shadybrook Resort is.

Quite frankly both the owners are insane and disrespectful. It is not a place for teenagers and they resort to breaking the law when it comes to handling their issues with residents. I do not recommend staying here or thinking of getting a place here. ZERO fun and ZERO hospitality

Can't rate this place high enough. Emma (and all the staff there) were amazing right from start to finish...helpful, fun, super engaged with the kids and everybody the entire time. We had a great day on the water, and would definitely recommend them if you're planning to charter a boat (and driver/coach). Will most definitely use them again.

Awesome place! The family that runs it are really friendly and helpful!! Like the nicest people and were totally understanding that we were having a bit of a rough time in our road trip. Right on the bay with so many different types of birds around and the showers&toilets were really nice and clean! Would defiantly go back! 100%
