Nice quite campground. Enjoyed our time. Only thing was there was leaves we had to clean up on our site. Oh we had an old lady yell at us for going above 5mph. Which we were…. 8mph. We will be back.

For this place being the water park capital of the world, the amount of times children were told that they would have to leave for not running, not doing canon balls but falling into the pool because jumping and canon balls are not allowed, even if there are no other people to be bothered by it. Same with many other things that the kids did that ALL OF THE FAMILY deemed acceptable, they had an issue with. A woman from the office also called a parent to tell the parent that a child was flipping her, an adult off, turns out, it was not even the child accused and no adult was “flipped off” just ridiculousness for no reason. The campground was flooded with mosquitoes, I rented a cabin for the weekend and for the price, so far in advance, $360 for a cabin with less than a hotel room.

Nice camping facility, mostly seasonal camping. But close to the race track and they were nice enough to activate the back gate for the weekend, to make it easier to get to the track. Lots of trees and some spots are tight to back in. 333 to 336 were easy to get in. Looks like a lot to do for the kids. (Edit/update) Dump station located at the back of property. Corners seem a little tight to get our 5th wheel back there. Also exiting from the site to the road, we had to pull past exit and backup the hill to make the exit. Like that it is gated, but no extra room. Inconvenient, not impossible,

It was a holiday weekend, so it was a bit busy. We brought our dog along as well and did experience some encounters with off leash dogs, which can be dangerous. Other than that, it was a great experience. While there, the weather was quite warm, so using the pool was great. The pool wasn't very busy either, which was surprising. Most people were at the pond.

We camp here a few times a year. Our family has seasonal sites here. We were going to get a seasonal for next year but after our weekend I’m not so sure. Since we are unable to stay on the seasonal side with our family we rented a golf cart for easy back and forth as well as our friends. After having our carts out for the second time of the day during the later afternoon we got told to park them for good due to “multiple complaints”. Our friends did get a warning the night before but my husband and I never got one or told we were doing anything wrong with ours, in fact we were in bed sleeping and ours was parked during their warning. The gate was up and we rushed through and didn’t swipe our card. I understand now that it’s not ok to do that but then was told to park for good for our mistake without any explanation. The security staff- Dan Theresa, and Troy would not even hear my husband out and just screamed at him when he tried to tell them their own policy of getting 1 warning(that’s we never got) before having to park. My husband pulled Jim aside and he took the time and talked politely to my husband and for that we are thankful that at least one of them was reasonable and didn't scream at us. Further more they would not even give us a specific reason as to why other than “multiple complaints” that we were never told about until this point. It was only the second time we were out for the day so unsure how there could have been so many. Troy also threatened to make us pack up and leave and when my husband said "im drunk I can't" he said "if I have to I will."The staff was beyond rude even coming by before quiet time and telling us to keep quiet. We spent the day at the pool and so much of the conversation was about the rude staff-specifically the security guards we had trouble with. As a weekender who comes a few times a year it’s very discouraging to want to continue to spend money here when the constant chatter between seasonal campers is about the terrible staff. It took us multiple attempts to get our gate key active, last time we stayed they booked us the wrong dates, we got a gift card no one seemed to know how to use, and have just had quiet a few problems with our last few stays. We really enjoy coming here but after getting yelled at, and talked to the way we did and being threatened to be made to leave I’m not so sure.
