Great campground -beautiful, relatively private sites. Nice staff. Camp store with essentials, kiln dried wood. Bathrooms rustic, but clean with free showers. Newly paved roads. Close by to services ie groceries, ice cream, etc. Close to main highway -easy to get places.

This camping area is amazing! It’s one of the best ones in the nation. Very well designed and most importantly very clean. Each camping spot is separated from each other. You have your car tent campfire all in one place. Lot of restrooms and almost all have a shower inside. Restrooms are cheeked very often and they are clean. You also have water almost every 6-7 camping spots. Playground and damping area are additional pros. Some people complain about the noise from route 6 and the train but I think it completely fine. Actually I enjoyed the train whistle from time to time. Again, it’s a wonderful place to spend your weekend once a while. We will have our third visit this year and already booked a weekend for September. Highly recommended!!!
