Stayed at the Pine Ridge Campground for 3 nights 13 electric sites , 25 non electric. Water available at check in station. Fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Pea gavels on sites most are level. Some will fit a small Rv 25-30 ft. No dump station. 20/30/50 amp At electric sites. 10$ a night. No reservations first come first serve. Vaulted toilets which where very clean. The campground was clean and rangers came by a couple times. Pounds Hollow lake is right down the road 1/4 of a mile.

Love Pounds Hollow and Pine Ridge Campground. My son and I have been camping in Southern Illinois for 8 years now. This is always a must hit campground for us. It has great facilities and the beach is a perk. Also your within 15-20 minutes of Garden of The Gods.

The camp sites were very nice - large enough for a large tent and two vehicles. Each site had a picnic table, fire ring with grate, and a pole with hooks for lamps. Electric is available at the first loop of sites. The only trouble I had was with payment. There were multiple signs saying make sure your payment drops all the way down into the post but there was some sort of insane sticky substance at the mouth of the opening that prevented this. I even tried using another envelope to shove that one down but couldn't get it to budge. Super gross and bizarre. I am just hoping for the best I guess?
