Oh wow we loved this place. The owners was so super nice. And the RV park is so very clean and quite. The owner she has it decorated for Halloween all over the park. It is so very cute. My husband and me had to just walk around the park to look at the Halloween lights. They have a great kids area if you have children. It is pet friendly as will. If you get a chance to stay you will enjoy the stay. And the view of the lake is just beautiful!

Great campsite. We had an easy pull through spot and views of the river. Had a great stay. Manager was very nice. No online reservations, you just have to call and let her know you are coming.

This RV spot is truly a gem! The surroundings are beautiful and incredibly quiet, with just a faint, tranquil hint of locomotives across the lake. We've discovered our favorite spot right by the water, and this is our third visit—it keeps getting better! Since it's a first-come, first-served campground, we called ahead, and the manager was kind enough to reserve our beloved spot with a cone when we were delayed by traffic. We absolutely adore this popular place and plan to return every time we're in the area, hoping they'll have a spot for us.

We LOVED staying at Shellmound Campground! We only stayed overnight & left out the next afternoon. Check-out wasn't until 3 which was nice not to feel rushed. They don't do online booking or reservations but after speaking with Mickey on the phone, she assured us we'd have a spot and to come on through. Mickey was an absolute sweetheart and her campground is just the cutest. It was all decorated and lit up for Christmas & all the campsites had their own decorations. It's right on Nicajack Lake & even with the gloomy weather we had, it was still gorgeous. We wish we could've stayed longer but plan to be back next year. The women's showers had blazing hot water, heated, & was a short walk from our campsite. We very much appreciate Mickey accommodating us with such short notice and highly recommend her campground! We can't wait to come back!

We stayed one night but it was so beautiful, quite, and peaceful. We loved the place and wanted to stay longer if time permitted but alas! we didn't have the time. We'd love to.come back and stay a bit longer.

Beautiful place, easy on and off from I 24. Drawbacks: no tv channels available, my phone apps work but not hot spot (may depend on site.) Would not plan on getting a site most of the year as majority of sites are occupied by long term campers. Met a few neighbors very friendly.

Beautiful place. Has 2 fishing docks boat ramp and camping area. Picnic tables and bathrooms.

We stay here often and it is always great. The facilities are clean. The grounds are well maintained. The managers are very respectful of all their guest and support you having a great time UNTIL your good time affects someone else's. Highly recommend this campground for a relaxing family trip. Strongly encourage loud disrespectful people and fast drivers to go somewhere else.

Just delightful! We just stayed overnight during our journey, but it was a very nice stay! The park host is super friendly! The whole park was decorated for Halloween. Our little guy loved all the decor and playing on the playground. Everything was clean and comfortable!
