Typical rv resort. Tight sites but lots of things to do. Family friendly. They should do a better job of labeling their buildings. 2 pavilions both just called pavilion even by the employees. Was a bit confusing to locate activities.

We went there to look at the campground and honestly it's a pretty amazing campground. Why did I rate it not 5 stars ?? Well we are more use to a busy campground with kids bustling around and stuff going on. This campground reminds me of a retirement home. Very laid back and just not alot going on. They do have alot of stuff to do but it just seemed to slow paced for our liking. I think however it's a beautiful place so, if you are looking for that slow paced gated campground that's very well kept up no trash and beautiful campsites... Try it, for me and mine we will have to have a hard pass.

I have only ride thru but what I seen I can't wait to go back and stay. If anyone has been blessed enough to have stayed here. This is one of the Best Places I've ever seen. So many activities for the young to the seasoned folks. People are friendly, everyone is respectful. I can't wait to be able to be part of their community.

We had a wonderful stay here in our camper! One of the cleanest and best maintained campgrounds we’ve been to. Even the pool and lake areas were extremely clean and didn’t feel overcrowded. The staff was wonderful also. We will definitely return!

Had a amazing time. Staff so friendly. We left a night early due to 5 people being in a cabin next to us that has a max of 2. We could not take all the yelling, screaming, hitting the wall of the 3 kids and 2 adults. I did let the office and 1 other staff member know but nothing was done. Even informed staff about the extra blow up bed they had in there for the extra 3 people. Thinking they are friends with staff or something. Lake was nice, pool was AMAZING! Probably will rent again but maybe a stand alone building because this was not so fun with rude neighbors.

We go every year trick or treating here! And it's the absolute best! Every thing about this camp ground is great... they have an amazing play ground and a jump pillow for kids.... the acres also has a Sandie lake to swim at and a place to get a bite to eat..... highly recommended for camping, swimming, eating or enjoying any of their activities!!!

I used to come here frequently when I was a kid — lots of great memories — but never actually camped (always day visits to the lake). I hadn’t been in probably 30 years so I decided to make the enormously long (joking) half mile trip from the house to the Acres for one last outing before I winterized the trailer. The staff are exceptional! Everyone I interacted with was very courteous and friendly. The whole “let us guide you to your site and help you get situated” service is a very nice touch! The sites are clean and, as far as I could tell, fairly spacious just by looking at the few I saw while wandering around. HOWEVER ... as several have noted, the sites are nowhere near level. I’m fortunate in that I don’t have slide-outs but still had a heck of a time getting the camper level enough to be comfortable (and it still listed pretty heavily). My Friday evening “entertainment” was listening to the salty language up and down the row as the newcomers became increasingly frustrated as they, too, tried to level their campers. The price point here is about 30%-40% higher than other locations in the Valley. That really took me by surprise. As a comparison, I paid almost as much for three nights during “winter hours” off season in November at the Acres as I paid for eight nights in June at a great park in St Augustine, Fl. In short, if you’re going to charge big-boy prices, you need to provide big-boy amenities. I’m not sure what I got above and beyond what the other two major parks in the area provide given the price difference. It felt to me like they’re trying to attract the crowd that’s not going to come any closer to this side of the mountain than Wintergreen. Maybe Sun RV didn’t do their due diligence or were perhaps ignorant of demographics when they made the purchase? In any case, it was an overall enjoyable experience and a nice park, but no better than the other popular parks within 20 minutes and definitely not competitive for the price.

Very friendly staff. Lots of activities for the whole family. Pet friendly except for the lake area. Nice shady sites for the short term campers. Awesome little cottages right on the lake

We came to this campground on a recommendation from a Facebook Camper group. I was extremely impressed with the facility. The staff escorts you to your spot and helps direct you in. How amazing is that?! They have daily spots and long term as well. The play area for the kids is great! They have a little general store and it's stocked with all your basic needs plus decor, souvenir shirts, and swimming items. The beach/lake was closed because it's fall so I can't weigh in on that. They allow golf carts with proof of insurance and there is TONS of space to ride around on. They allow 2 dogs per site with proof of Rabies vaccine. I can't wait to come back and visit. I was extremely impressed with everything!

Only visited some folks with a seasonal site (we were purchasing their RV.) A quick driving tour revealed many amenities (nice playground with a bounce pad), meeting rooms and pavilions for groups, a fishing pond, and a large lake for swimming and beaching. Was very kid friendly. The people we visited were very pleased with their seasonal site. Sites are a bit cramped and the roads are narrow, but everything is well maintained. Our interactions with staff were all friendly and plesant.
