This park could have gotten 4 stars if the reservation system actually worked. When we arrived the man in the office said he had no reservation for us that we had made 5 months in advance. That being said, the park is in a beautiful setting near two lakes. It is mostly permanent residents. Price is at the top at $50. It does have full hook ups 30/50amp in some sites. Some shaded sites. No Wifi. Tried some fishing not a bite. Good for overnight stores and Walmart close by.

We stopped here on our way from Chicago to Fort Pickens in Florida. Michael was the host and was so helpful. He chose a nice sight for us. He called when he thought we might have passed by. He brought us firewood. He is such a nice person and a great help. The campground is small and quaint. The lake is beautiful. We will definitely be coming back here.

Beautiful little lake. And it is clean. Site 37 has bad 30A wiring (ground-to-hot), but we were able to use an adapter on 50A outlet.

It was a very nice park on 2 lakes. No playgrounds that I saw. The attendant said it was usually full of construction workers and hunters. We were lucky there was a space he said. A lot of the construction workers had left that morning.

Nice Campground. Concrete Sites. Lakes Are Relaxing. No Bath House. Wish We'd Known That The Bath House Was Torn Down But We Made Do. Both Campground Hosts Were Super Friendly. If We're Ever Back In The Area We'll Stay Here Again.
