Beautiful spot for camping. Very quiet, it has a small creek that runs down the side of the camp. Our camp hosts were amazing and very helpful.

I recently traveled to Mammoth again last minute so decided to do something different and camp there this time. It was a great stay! Affordable. Easy to navigate with the help of the friendly host and luckily encountered no bears. The camp sites are super clean and well maintained. Even the fire pits are really clean! Instructions are easy to follow and just mind the speed limit of 5mph. We were engulfed in dust clouds at times because a few people wouldn't listen. There's a creek that runs through it so if you find it pull up a chair and enjoy.

We stayed at site 20: Excellent campground! We loved it here. nice and quiet, large spacious sites. We saw NO bears on our visit. Clean facilities and courteous camp hosts. This is a great location with easy access to all the Mammoth Lakes has to offer.

#51 Nice size campsite for a small RV, but the whole campground is dusty. Camp hosts, Tony & Debbie, were great and warned me of BEAR activities during check-in. My friend came over to my site for a few minutes when got to her site #49 with her Teardrop trailer. When she went back to her site, she saw a small bear pulling off the window of her trailer. She yelled and the bear ran off, but later broke into a bigger trailer. A big "Thank You" to camphost Tony for putting the window back on the trailer for my friend and to camphost Debbie for telling me to keep my RV windows closed and what to do if a bear gets into my RV.

Bathrooms are kept clean but tons of flies. Bring your own shower. Gets quite after about 11. Pretty sure the hosts don't get on to anyone for being loud. Someone also set off fireworks 2 nights in a row. Only once of twice though. Nights were cool in the summer but hot during the day. Lots of ants and sap from the trees. Fire pits for cooking or a grill for coal. You can hear the highways a little but if you're closer to the water it's not so bad. Several sites were booked but no one ever camped at them! There should probably be a 24 hour cancellation policy or forfeit of space. We didn't stay as long because they were "booked up" according to the site but there were many spaces unoccupied. Beautiful place close to so many good hiking spots.

Beautiful campground. We saw a bear. It came in our tent area, get on our camp table sniffed all the food and left. Our table didn't have any food which interested him.. lol! This was an added experience which really made our camping felt successful.

Great campground with BBQ, fire pits, and picnic tables at each site. Multiple water stations, garbage, and bathrooms throughout. Lots of trees and shade to keep you cool.

A secluded but just 15 mins ride from city campground. Camp host Don greeted us and was very helpful in explaining do and don't. I was at site 08 which is walk in site. It was very close to restroom but not too close for odour. The restrooms are clean but no flush. Site 8 is so close to the creek that you hear calming sound of water flowing whole night.

Incredible campground for the dispersed camping experience without the danger and risk of getting fined. No amenities aside from a vault toilet and a very friendly camp host who will sell you firewood; walk-in sites come equipped with picnic table, campfire ring, bear locker, and access to the creek. 100% will stay again, it's a beautiful and accessible location (great especially for OHV!)

Nature is always amazing!! This campground was pretty spacious and neighbors weren't too close together. Lots of pine trees, and a creek nearby. There's a hike nearby you can do to get this Sherwin lakes; takes about 1.5 hours (2 miles) hiking up to it.
