Awesome little place to be in early fall. There were only a handful of campers when we stayed, very secluded and quiet. Tons of birds to hear.. day and night! Clean coin operated showers (water is not hot, but sufficiently warm) .. Definitely bring a filter for the "potable" water station. We'll be back next year for sure!

This was our second camping trip with some local friends to Sherwood. Same time last year as this year. They stayed the week, and we only did the weekend. Had a great time. Site #4...110v electric not working. Same for our friends at #2-#3. Other than that, had a great time. Nice clean bathrooms.

My first time at Sherwood campground my review. I had no power in my campsite told the host he said ants got into the contacts and they are waiting for it to get fixed. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. They looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. There was so many flies and spiders in the bathrooms the woods would of been better. Went to take a shower and only one shower would take quarters. The shower house that did had a mouse running around the room. I would say not a good experience on the up keep of the campground.Very sad since it is a pretty place with the lake.

Amazing campground. The lake is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. The sites are large and wooded. The campground hosts are wonderful and help make your time there so much fun. I really love and appreciate the fact they enforce the dog leash rules. As a dog owner I hate when campgrounds allow off-leash dogs that can run up to my leashed pup and antagonize.

As a kid I remember camping here quite often. nice quiet peaceful camping. There is a nice dock on the lake. Nice boat landing.good fishing lake for panfish and northerns. A wonderful swimming area and playground, with shelter. (They just finished work on the lake...They dug it deeper and restocked the lake with fish.)
