The place is really nice and peaceful. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The fishing is great especially as t night on the fishing docks. Already planning another trip. Thank you guys so much

Cabin #10 Was awful ! They have broken mini blinds and the window in the top bunk was leaking water and getting the bed and the bed and the floor wet the whole time it rained! Also the bathroom nub was broken and the door wouldn’t shut ! It also smelled really mildew and had demp rid on top of the refrigerator! There was also roaches in the kitchen and water bugs in the main bathroom ! To tell u the truth I don’t think we will EVER stay on a cabin again. Lamp in living room doesn’t work, light above kitchen sink doesn’t work as well. There is no shower handle in the shower! And the furniture is disgusting ! Shouldn’t have paid 193.00 and night if the cabin was on that rough of shape! Will for sure find somewhere nicer to stay for that price !

We stayed in the "Smooth Sailing" cabin over Labor Day Weekend and overall, our stay at the cabin was fine, but there were definitely some drawbacks. The space was clean when we arrived (bed linens, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), but it felt like upkeep beyond the basics had been overlooked. What’s provided is very minimal — you’ll need to bring your own towels, rugs, hand soap for the kitchen and bathroom, and any cleaning supplies you might want. I ended up making a trip to the dollar store just to grab the essentials for wiping things down and washing our hands. The cabin itself needs some attention. Spiderwebs covered the exterior and even parts of the interior, making the screened-in porch unusable. None of the exterior lights worked, and only one of the three interior lamps functioned. The filters in the window AC units were overdue for a change, and there were signs of water damage inside, with wall coverings peeling in places. Because the entire park is sandy and no rugs are provided, we were constantly sweeping to keep the dirt under control. If all you need is a simple spot to sleep and have a cup of coffee before heading to the lake, this place will work. But if you’re looking for comfort or a “home away from home” feel, you may want to look elsewhere.

We parked our RV here for a week as a test run before our big trip. Very nice area, well kept, and there are people that seem to be long term guests there as well. Nice and quiet even by the swim area. Will be back when we need a local retreat.

Staying at Shiloh on the Lake was a wonderful experience! I stayed in one of the cabins, which was clean and comfortable. I also had the pleasure of meeting the park manager, Jackie, who was super helpful and answered all of my questions. I really appreciated that the park is pet-friendly—it meant a lot to be able to bring my dog along on my weekend away from home. The park was dark at night, so be sure to bring a flashlight if you're walking your dog at night. But the darkness meant for a great-night's sleep! Had dinner at The Dock just a short walk from the park. Great food and great service too! I'll go back for a get-away!

Great park at a great price. Stayed here three nights visiting friends in the area. Nice sites with lots of trees. The best feature is they give you a nice bundle of free wood for your fire. I would give it a five except the sites are basically dirt, no gravel, so it was a little dusty and if it rains probably muddy. We did enjoy walking down by the lake and around the wooded park.

This is one of my all time favorite campgrounds. Oak trees, lake, bathhouse, community meeting hall. Takes me back to my youth I could honestly live here. AND they have fire rings at each site! Warning if you're looking for a luxury pad and the fufu place this is not it. It is a camping, spending time with the family kind of place.

Nice shaded campgrounds. We came with a group and used the large meeting building as our dining hall. Most in the group tent camped, and I used one of the shelters. Fairly full campground but quiet and not busy.
