We’ve travelled across the US and back. Definitely top 1% of all campgrounds! First the sites are large and spread out. Want to be nestled in the woods? Check. Open field? Check. On a pond? Check. Second, the food in the restaurant is delicious (I know. I’m supposed to be cooking around my campfire.) The blueberry pancakes are to die for. The staff is exemplary from the teen who checked us in with all the professionalism of a pro to the manager who carefully led us through, step by step, how to use the wooded trails. Our dogs could run free a bit (they come on command.) And on Saturday night there was a great band outside the bar (yes, there an adorable bar) with a blazing campfire. Wish they were closer. Oh, and pick spot 12. We wish we had.

Everyone was friendly! Staff are great! The food was excellent! We had the tent site on the water which was amazing. The campground was super clean! We are booking for next year again. This will be our new vacation spot!

Shin Pond Village is such a great place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. The pizza is great and you can have a drink at the bar while waiting for food. We rented a side by side and explored the various trails. The owner helped us with trail guidance.The scenery was amazing! This was our second trip and we can’t wait to return! We love Shin Pond Village😊

We rented an ATV there on Sunday for the day. The guy working there Blain I think, made sure I had all the proper gear to ride and he went over the functions and controls of the machine very thoroughly. It's nice when someone takes a little time to make sure your day will go well. The brand new ATV performed like a mountain goat and we went through many miles of well laid out trails. Having the GPS screen was a great feature as the trails are so many it would be easy to get lost. When I come back up here in definitely renting here again.

We had our wedding here at Shin Pond and cannot say enough praise about this venue. We stayed just over a week at the Lake House and had family in all the cabins, couple of camper sites and everyone kept saying how perfect everything was. Blaine and the staff are all incredible. Anything we needed, they had or found for us. Extremely accommodating! Highly recommend coming here for vacation or having as your wedding venue. Such an amazing place! Thank you Shin Pond for making our day and vacation back to Maine perfect.
