We really enjoy the campground. It is usually quiet and sites are plenty big enough. Bathrooms are well kept. A little further from the main attractions, but many are still walkable and bikeable.

The campground is neat and clean. They have a prayer trail which was very pleasant and inspiring. The Amish community is very prevalent in the town, so lots of good food and handmade items

The campground is nice and close to town. However, management is shady. We stayed the last 4 days of Oct. and last day for them to be open was Nov 1st. They turned the water off to the campground at 3:00 pm Oct 31st! There was at least another dozen RVs in the campground and we saw someone checking in. I called and they said they turned it off because it was the last day, if it was the last dau why were charging people for the night of the 31st and saying checking out was Nov1st! That makes Nov 1st the last day! I debated that the last day was Nov 1st when everyone checks out but it did absolutely no good. They did not tell us at check in that would turn the water off to the campground. That is for something I would have remembered and I would have filled my fresh tank! The girl on the phone said there is a hose at the office and we can fill our tank, so they did not turn the water off to the office, only the campers. There was absolutely no reason for them to turn the campground water off a day early and then still charge full price! Just shady! We will never go back there.

This large park is located on the edge of town, so easy access. The average sized sites are on gravel with grass between and feature a section for tents. The bathhouse is a bit dated but clean and functional with push button showers. Not a lot of kid oriented things to do and I didn’t see many kids here. Some of the people I spoke to return every year and make a reservation for next year before they leave for a specific site. Sometimes they don’t get the promised site and management said it’s in the fine print that they can move their site at management discretion. This does not make people happy.

Great place to stay. Fine enough sites. Walking distance to some fun stores. Two complaints: The hot water at the shower house was difficult to regulate and my husband got scaulded! The guy one site away from us (with no one in-between) had a company come in to wash, wax and detail his RV. This was noisey and very unfair to us! Add on that the workers liked their music loud!
