Overnight sites are pull through and located at the front of the park making an overnight stay very easy. Full hookups, shady. Patio. But concrete was broken up. Trash laying around on the ground. Staff not friendly or helpful at check in. They did provide a map.

The wife and I had arrived at our campsite when we noticed our refrigerator wasn’t working. I contacted the service department. They did not answer about midnight that night. We get a text message from the service tech so the next morning we contacted them they said they could show up at the campsite to look at repairing The refrigerator in our RV he explained to us that he could be there at about 10:00 AM. My wife met them up there and he began working on the refrigerator. It wasn’t long he came in told my wife he got us back up and running said he found a loose connection which was on the wire that tells the refrigerator how cold you get we arrived at the campsite that night to Start our weekend camping trip I had purchased some bug screens to install on the refrigerator vents outside. I removed the lower vent and was looking inside of the refrigerator to see if I could tell maybe what wire had been loose so that if it happened again, I could fix it myself when I had noticed all this technician done was removed a fusible link that is there to protect the refrigerator if it overheats sometime, I contacted the service center and talked to the service manager. The service manager explained to me that it was fine. I said well that’s not my problem. My problem is he told us he found a loose connection. He never said anything to us about removing the fusible link. The service manager explained to me that it was fine to leave it like that and then it would be OK. I told him that it wasn’t a matter of it being OK or not. OK it was a matter of the guy did not explain to us what he had actually Done. He removed a part of my refrigerator and did not explain to me that this is what I done he told us that he had found a loose connection. I contacted a different service center and they told me that this fusible link needs to be there so that if something happens in the refrigerator overheats then it will disconnect power to the refrigerator and keep things safe The service manager at that time decided he was going to hang up on me. My wife called them back and he done the same thing to her When she had explained to him all the service technician Needed to do was tell us what he had done. We could either order the part ourselves and put it on or they could have ordered it and put it on at a later date. He hung up on my wife. so at that point I was starting to overheat. I tried to call them back and they would not even take my call and have continued to try to get in touch with them from that day forward still not taking my call to me. I think this is very poor service and is not good for a business that has just changed hands within the last few Signed just not happy

Wonderful place to camp with an RV. Would be nice if they had bathrooms and shower areas throughout the campground for people who only have tents. Still a beautiful place and love the swimming area with the big slip and slide perfect for small kids cause the water is not very deep. Fishing is great for kids there as well.

Warm weather calls for camping plans! Looking for a new spot to park your RV & camp in Mid-Missouri? This campground is located near Long Branch Lake in the Macon, Missouri area. The Bevier Campground has a pickleball court, play area for kids, swing sets, as well as an outdoor slip & slide...how cool is that?? While we were there, a wedding & reception was taking place at the campground community center! The electric & sewage hook-ups worked as they should...which is a plus! We parked in the back of the campground, next to the lake and the woods. I would highly recommend camping at this spot at least once this year!
