Brought a group of 15 from Mid and North West in 7 RV's and 3 Cabins. Initial cleanliness of one of the cabins was quickly attended to when pointed out to staff. Being from the area originally I never had any idea just how nice and expansive the property is, withe a shoreline that could be a state park. Everyone was super friendly throughout the whole process of planning this. I do not understand the bad reviews. Our group seems to be very very happy!!!

My family and I stayed at this campground over the weekend, and had an amazing time. The facilities are well kept and clean, and they offer a can and bottle and trash can at each site that they come around and collect every day, which is a great feature. The location on the water is beautiful, and the path down to the "fishing rocks" is lovely. The campground is very private, and each site has privacy. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys camping in a beautiful spot with Boothbay Harbor just a short 10 min drive away!

We had the pleasure of staying at this campground recently, and we cannot understand the negative reviews. The campground was spotless, the staff was super friendly and non-invasive, and the bathhouses were simple but clean with more than enough hot water for showers. For $.50 you got a fantastic 15 minute very hot shower. The trails were beautiful and led out to the tide marsh, which is where we had our coffee both mornings. It was so peaceful and quiet. Very enjoyable. I would imagine why people are having issues with this campground is that it feels like more of a 55+. It is not a noisy young family, kid friendly, party atmosphere. And there is no swimming. It was definitely geared more towards older people that like peace and quiet and old school atmosphere. With that being said, I would definitely camp there again and recommend it to my friends.

Very nice camping. Spots are spread out nicely with a lot of amenities. Laundry, hot showers (.25$ for 5 minutes) Each spot has a fire ring and picnic table. Some have decks. Many are waterfront camping as well. Not a lot of bugs, but definitely some. We enjoyed the space so much we decided to stay an additional night.

Shore Hills can righteously boast about quiet and exquisite scenery of its campgrounds. There quite the array of animal life visible at different points of the days/nights. Even saw seals that had come into the area during high tide to feed on the fish. The friendliest folks abound from the registration office to all the camp-workers. Everyone was incredibly gracious and helpful!!!!!
