We had a great time! Brought our daughter to stay in a wagon, the wagons are actually roomier than I thought they’d be! Bed was comfy. The bathrooms and showers were close to us and also very NICE! Nice view! We enjoyed watching the sun rise. Can’t wait to check out the teepees!

My sister and I traveled from Tomball to God’s Country Resort for a family wedding that was 5-10 mins away at The Barn at Coyote Creek. We spent 2 nights. Check in was easy and Trish was super nice and explained how to find our cabin perfectly. When we pulled up it was a very pleasant surprise to find we had a hot tub on the front porch. (I wouldn’t have minded a privacy screen) it was very simple to get in the cabin. Once we walked in it was simply perfect. We were impressed with the whole cabin, from the cleanliness to how nice everything was. It has pretty much anything you need. The Keurig was a nice surprise, along with the coffee and sugar and creamer. The quality of the bed, linens and towels was wonderful. The views are great also! We would definitely stay here again.

I believe you give people praise when they deserve it and I just wanted to say that Gloria and Tricia have made our transition from our camper to the cabin an amazing experience. They’ve been encouraging. They listened when I needed to just rant sometimes. I’m so thankful that we’re going to be able to stay at God’s country with the little family that we have here. The people here aren’t just staff. They’re like family. We are looking forward to the next couple of years here. Thank you for making the past year here with the new team a great experience! I love that this is a safe place because the rules are enforced and guest comfort and safety are a priority!

Hidden gem in Shreveport! Kids loved glamping in the teepee. It was equipped with a super comfortable queen bed and bunkbeds. Temperature was very comfortable and well controlled. Also had a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. The teepee rental comes with a golf cart which was a lot of fun to drive around. There was a lot to keep them busy, two jumping pillows and the pool. The bathrooms were especially nice, I was VERY pleased!

I wanted to love this place- I really did! Pros: the view from the East Campground is absolutely beautiful. We loved our stone cabin and enjoying the evenings outside. However…FYI, there are TWO SEPARATE CAMPGROUNDS which I never saw clearly on their website after visiting it 100 times before booking. The East one (and the only one that’s pretty) is down Hwy 1, through a neighborhood, then a trailer park and then you get to the gate. We went to take our kids, so we were focused mainly on the pool, jumping pad, games, etc. We had to take a 6 minute car ride to and from the Main Campground to do any of that. It was terribly inconvenient. The pool is SMALL. The kids had fun but for a place that size, I would expect a huge pool or multiple pools. As a Louisianian, for kid friendly resorts/campgrounds, there are tons that are better. For a girls’ trip or a romantic getaway when it’s cool outside, I definitely recommend a stone cabin on the East side because each has its own jacuzzi on the porch (let’s hope they clean them properly by then- my 6yo daughter found a beer bottle cap in our’s and when the jets were off, I could see the hair and grime around the rim like a dirty bathtub), an outside fire pit and an indoor wood burning fireplace with a beautiful view.

Using the KOA app to reserve multiple nights going to Sheppard AFB and multiple nights coming home. This is the only one that is not giving me the refund that the KOA app states. As soon as I found out I will only see my son for 20 minutes before he moves to another AFB far away, I called all of these campgrounds to cancel. Giving each of them almost two weeks notice (the nights going to Sheppard) and a full two weeks notice (the nights coming home) this campground was unable to give a refund minus the $10 cancellation fee, which is clearly stated on the KOA app. They claimed I took a spot that someone else could not have reserved. The KOA app states you have 48 hours notice for tent/rv sites and they tried to tell me on “their” website it states no refunds. This campground should not be affiliated with KOA if you want to have a different policy or KOA needs to make it clear on the app who has what policy! I am warning here because I have been camping for over 50 years and this is the first time this has ever happened to me! I am old and probably am accustomed to old school so I get that this is the new way but it will hurt those who have been supporting the camping community for decades. I get now why so many left the campground jobs that they loved in 2020. Paying for a site that someone could use is wrong! There is no way that almost two week notice for the one night and two weeks notice for the other night is not enough notice! Is this campground hurting that bad?!? Do they have that many empty sites every week that you have to take advantage of an old lady over two different nights stay?

Was a really nice park before it become KOA but afterwords it become a royal pain dealing with the front desk manager trying to charge us double. Not our fault she didn’t know what was going on. The water is very muddy and Wi-Fi in and out. Laundry mat is out dated waste of time. The owner is very cool we stayed for over a year with out an issue until it become KOA.

New, clean and very spacious campground. The spots were plenty big enough to accommodate a 43 foot motor home and truck (didn’t have to detach the truck). The sites have rocking and stationary chairs, beautiful fire pits and swing. Tammy and Tony were great to work with in getting us checked in and parked. A very enjoyable evening in a beautiful place. This campground is big enough to get a great walk in with lots to see. We’ll be staying here again if we pass this way again.

This is a new campground with beautiful large slabs to park on at the entrance. The sites have rocking chairs, a swing and a very large camp fire ring. It was very quiet. I didn’t hear cars from the road. There was a train but way off in the distance. Staff was very friendly.

The cabins were perfect and very clean. The staff was amazing and very helpful. If you are just passing through on business this is the best place to stay in Shreveport. It’s the same price as a hotel but way cleaner and also way safer. Great for a family vacation or business travelers.
