This was my first stay at Shubie Campground. It is well located for those who want to visit HRM, Halifax Regional Municipality. It has good washroom and laundry facilities, a little dated but clean, well maintained and in good condition. The campsites are very good, ample size, well spaced, mostly level, with natural grass and gravel finishes. Lots of trees around and interesting topography. The campground boarders a well appointed municipal park. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend you stay as I certainly intend to do again.

RV campground in a great location. It's located in Dartmouth with access to Halifax waterfront tourist attractions. It's adjacent to some great walking trails in Shubie Park. Facilities such as washrooms / showers / laundry are a bit tired, but serviceable. Most of the occupants are seasonal users, but the transient users seem to get located in one corner. Recommend sites 70-75 for more privacy.

We stayed at Shubie Campground for 1 night. The service provided was super, with friendly staff and everything clearly explained/indicated for us as we arrived after the office had already closed. Location was really great, by a beach, and quiet. Bathrooms are really nice as well. Showers and laundry are also available, at a cost. This campsite has everything one needs to spend a great time, whether in a tent or otherwise.

Shubie Campground is a well operated urban campground with great staff who accommodate campers needs every day. I was on a cross Canada road trip from Vancouver and needed a place to stay for a couple of days while having some unexpected service done on my Sprinter camper van. Heather and Blair went out of their way to find a space for me and then during the busy time of their season they were able to find me several other sites so I could extend my stay for another 10 days. The on-field staff were great and friendly. The Campground is close to everything tourists might what to see. Its an easy drive into Halifax, its great there is lake swimming a short walk from the main campground. I had a great experience at this campground (lots of experiences in 3 months of travel) and highly recommend it to those in the HRD. Thanks folks for that great experience. J Taylor, Vancouver, BC

Absolutely a little gem of a campground. We stayed here for 10 days while we were in Halifax for my sister's wedding and we had SUCH a good time. The campground is really well maintained, spots are beautiful with decent space from neighbors, and the facilities (bathrooms and showers) are clean. There is no sewer connection but they have pump out services. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The best part of the campground is that it is located directly adjacent to a lovely trail system and beach. The trail system has offleash dog designated areas, and our dogs loved it. There is a cool little playground, and also a very fun PUMP track just a short walk down the road. Highly recommend Shubie!
