This is a smaller park. Has nice picnic areas and hiking trails. Great for fall foliage. Nice drive.

Very nice trail through the woods. 2 sets of many stairs optional to climb. A little muddy in some spots due to springs but not an issue with proper footwear. Very enjoyable.

Very nice campground. Dry camping only. There is a water hydrant in both campground sections. Stayed here in a 35' 5th wheel in site 7. Is a designated horse campground but none here when we stayed on a Tuesday night.

Well maintained State Park. Lovely views with a lot of variety- from open prarie to wooded hollows. We came to mountain bike the multi use trails. Good cross country routes with some short punchy climbs.

This place is really special. Got the spooky vibes for sure. The fall colors everywhere is perfect and the maps was helpful to hike the trails and make spontaneous turns and shortcuts that lead to another trail. They have vault toilets, plemry of picnic tables in the parking lot and scattered throughout the park as well. Small turnouts along the road with a picnic table, pay-on-your-own kiosk that takes card only. Day pass $8. I saw they had a campground but didn't see an option to pay for the night on the kiosk and when I checked online the sites are unavailable, even though there was no one at the sites. It gets very foggy towards the evening which was super cool to experience. Coyotes, deer, rabbits, and birds are some wildlife we saw as well. Absolutely loved it!
