I have recently returned from Sid Turcotte Park after organizing a stay at the park with a small group of ATV'ers. This is the most recent of many stays we have had at this park since the spring of 2014. With one exception, when I stayed with just one other person in a travel trailer, this group has always stayed in one of the cabins. Reserving accommodations at the park has always been easy and problem free, with everything ready when we arrive. Staff are always pleasantly accommodating if we have any needs, and facilities are always clean. Access to the VMUTS trails is easy as the park is close to the trail-head. There was sufficient parking for our trucks and trailers. A great place to stay, we will be back!

Very nice camping. We visited it past mid september so the site was very quiet. I thought it was a nice camping for retired people (seasonal campers) with grand children that can visit them from time to time. It is a dream place for them. PS: I found that leaving time at 11 am was very early. In the Ontario parks that we visited around, it was set to 14:00. But the lady told us that as it was not busy, it would be ok with her that we leave only at noon. I was glad because we arrived 15 minutes before closing (16:45).

Owners are super. Very polite and accommodating. The park is on the beautiful Mattawa River. Campsites have great views. The store sells everything you need. 2 great beaches. The yards are well maintained. Only complaint is that the washrooms could be cleaned more frequently. Otherwise its a great place. Mattawa is really nice little town.

I have never actually stayed here but been in lots for pizza and the market! It is such a beautiful location but most of all it seems so fun! The owners seem to always be planning cool events and lots for kids. They have ice cream, pizza and a Sunday market. A nice little sense of community.

I stayed for a weekend. I told them some issues/suggestions in regards to renting one of their cabins. Although I believe my email was friendly, I was responded to badly. They told me I shouldn't have emailed them the issues a week after my stay. I did talk to the clerk at the check in office and she wrote down my complaints/suggestions. Either she didn't give it or they read it and did not care. All of my safety issues they replied it was either our fault and they take care of outdoor cleanups weekly, should be done daily for fire safety. Honestly, they should put money in actually restoring their cabins to be safe instead of a new wood fire pizza trailer with outdoor seating. Take it as you want. We won't ever be going back. I know this is going to come back on me, I should've taken a video of issues to prove it was infact true and a big safety concern.

Stayed a couple nights in February for a ski trip to Antoine Mountain. The River’s Rest cabin was clean and very warm with the gas fireplace running in -25C night temps. 10 minutes to the ski hill and all the amenities you need within 5 min drive.

Spent 4 days over Thanksgiving weekend at Sid Turcotte and it was absolutely beautiful! The sites were spacious. we stayed on W79 and it had a beautiful view of the water. The grounds were clean and beautiful. Right in the little town of Mattawa a little town that was fun to explore. Would definitely recommend visiting this park.

Love this park, stayed for a week. Excellent RV sites, lots of room. Kids absolutely loved the beach, river, jumping off the platform. They also loved the ice cream from the store. Staff are excellent, friendly and professional. Loved it so much, our deposit is already down for next year. The only bad thing, the wait has begun, come on next August !

This is by far THE best campground around. Our family and extended family has been gathering here for almost 5 years now. When my daughter was 9 she said to me; "Mom, going to Turcotte Park is better than Christmas!!!". Pay no attention to any negative reviews, they are simply people who are impossible to please. The owners of this campground take great pride in ownership, they are professional and beyond accommodating. So what are you waiting for?!? Book your site! Your won't be disappointed!

Our favourite park, we have been to numerous in Ontario and this one is the best! Friendly people, great park, on the Mattawa river, floating down on a tube is awesome. Spacious sites, lots of trees, good dry firewood at a reasonable price. Very good owners, do their best to make your stay enjoyable. They organized a glow in the dark float night on the river Saturday night which was awesome! Great park for families. 2 beaches to enjoy. Highly recommend this park!!
