The food is good, but you may have a hard time enjoying it if you're a part of the LGBTQ community and you may not be welcome here. Our waitress was incredibly rude and stand-offish toward myself and my friend. We were pleasant and patient, but she refused to make eye contact with us, loudly exhaled everytime she walked by while making sure to look the other direction, and acted like she could hardly stand near our table long enough to take our order. (And even had a busser or other staff member bring us our drinks and take care of our check). Sometimes people have bad days, but she was obviously kind, pleasant, and a decent person to all of the surrounding tables (checking in on them, making small talk, etc) while making it clear that she did not want to be within 10 feet of us. Not a welcoming experience at a restaurant I've been coming to since I was a small child.

Still the best burgers ever..... we showed up late, right before closing, so we had to get our food "to-go". Its been a few years since we've been and it looks like they've added an outdoor seating area, with a view of the lake. Some of the dock has been renovated too. They added a nice seating area and access is easy from the restaurant. The service is what it is, you don't go to a small lake town burger joint and expect stellar service. We got what we expected.... They forgot the fries on our to-go order, but we were really there for the burgers, so it didn't matter. Burgers are the main attraction, its a homemade burger, with a perfect cook. Great for after lake activities, and in-between spots. If you haven't had one, it is 100% worth the effort. A great view, coupled with a great burger makes for some cherished memories.

I LOVE the Forks! I'm there a couple times a week and can't have my forks burger without the chocolate malt milkshake, the best! Love the breakfast, it's my favorite thing to do on the weekends. Thank you Forks family for always providing the best service and food for this girl!

I've probably been going in the last 20 years to the forks. This time I was super amazed because they've hired younger people and they were so polite and so friendly. I'm amazed by the hospitality. I will be back again and the milkshake. And the sandwich, the tuna Patti melt. Oh my goodness, it was perfect as always.

Bass Lake is probably one of the most beautiful lakes I've been to.. Clean water, lake front homes and marinas with the pines and mountains in all its natural beauty will take your breath away. Hosts are welcoming and happy.. Campsites are a bit small but definitely doable. Gets pretty hot in the summer months so if you don't have some sort of watercraft you might want to rent something. No showers at Forks, but for $4/5min you can use the public showers up the road at Miller's Landing. Bathrooms are clean and well kept.
