Rancheria Campground has become a family tradition year after year. We have camped in the month of May and in September. Both months were great experiences. May had chilly nights. In September we surprisingly got a little drizzle one day and the rest of the day was sunny. Feels like a private campground with clean bathrooms and friendly people. Very close to the lake and near hiking trails. The Rancheria Falls is a must do trail. Pet friendly.

I had great reception with Verizon the whole time, other family members on AT&T and T Mobile had to use our star link and my Verizon Hotspot device. The views are great and the lake eas cold.

We stayed in spot 109. Bathrooms are absolutely the cleanest campground we have ever stayed at. Darlene was our Host, and she was fantastic.

I was there a few years ago, very beautiful place. You can rent a space — the size they assign you depends on the number of people. The lake is very close, you can walk to it. Just a few minutes away there's an area for skiing and snowboarding. They have public restrooms, and each space has a water hookup and electrical outlet. You have to make a reservation several months in advance.
