Our first time at this campground and area and we loved it! Smooth and easy booking process. Very family friendly! Restrooms were very clean with plumbing and running water. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We love spring cove and camp here every year. The mosquitos and heat get a bit more difficult each time, but it’s still our favorite spot. Shout out to Steve for being an amazing camp host! He dropped by regularly to check on us which was appreciated. He even took our trash to the dumpster for us one evening! Hope we get to see him again next year.

We had originally booked sites 35 and 36 for my husband and me, as well as my parents, with the intention of setting up pop-up tent trailers on both sites. Site 35 was listed as a pull-through site with a 30ft by 12ft cement pad. However, upon arrival, we found that the pad was only about 15 feet long and 6 feet wide, and it was not a pull-through as described. There was also a stream between the cement pad and the grassy area, which made things quite muddy. Site 36, where my parents were to stay, had an even smaller cement pad. They were unable to fit either their truck or pop-up trailer on it. Thankfully, the camp host was the kindest we’ve ever encountered in all our camping trips. He went above and beyond, moving us to a more suitable site that could better accommodate my husband’s disability, and relocating my parents to our previous site. The location was beautiful, and the service exceptional, but we would strongly recommend that the campground review and update the descriptions of their campsites for accuracy.

Just got back from our annual camping trip and always a good time at bass lake !! Bathrooms are always clean, plenty of tp. And this year we had our host Stephen, the nicest guy! He made sure we were good the entire time !! Always checking if we needed anything. Hope to see him again on our next trip!

My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Once we got there, we ran into Stephen that helped us find our campsite. Stephen was very helpful and kind. The location of this campground is GREAT. I've camped a lot over the years and this location is great because you are truly in the middle of a forest. We will definitely be making this campground a yearly trip from now on!

Love spring cove!!! Super close to the lake. I could see it from my spot. Host super friendly. Everyone around me respected quiet hours. Serene peaceful and close to bass lake smokehouse 41 and yosemite. Had enough room for my 26.5 rig and there was overflow right next to the restrooms. Restrooms super clean. Camp site clean and ready for when I arrived.

made reservations online, said they had overflow parking. when we arrived there was no overflow parking and camp host had my brother and a guy pay for a empty spot to park there car . he charged them $60 for spot and $10 per vehicle . the spot they gave me was only big enough for my trailer and i had to park across street i think they need to be better informed of the rules and availability of spots

We stayed at site 3 for 2 nights . The host was informative and helpful. Toilets are flushable and were kept really clean. The campground is very close to the lake. My only complaint is there is no privacy. Most of the campsites seem to be close to each other.

Camping was so fun here! We stayed here Friday-Sunday at campsite 014. Restrooms were constantly being cleaned. Our host, Ray, was checking up on us maybe 2-3x per day. He was so sweet, very informative and even gave our kids ice cream since it was a hot weekend. The lake was close by to our campsite. We are definitely coming back again!! :)

We came during a busy Memorial Day weekend but thankfully everyone was very well-behaved. We stayed at camp sites 12 and 13, the latter with a nice view of the lake. There is space to park two cars and then spillover parking about 50 yards away towards camp site 15. We didn’t have the bear-proof storage containers present on other sites; it wasn’t a problem for us but it’s something to keep in mind. Ray was pleasant to interact with and we really appreciated how he kept the bathrooms clean and stocked all weekend.

Great Campsite (#049) - Beautiful Lake views but Beware of Bears! We stayed at Campsite #049, which was quite good overall, though a canopy is essential since there's no natural shade. The proximity to restrooms and a drinking water tap was very convenient, and there's a garbage disposal bin right across from the site. The campground host was very attentive and friendly, keeping the restrooms clean regularly and being available at least once a day during our stay. However, the drinking water quality wasn't great; it looked pale yellow, so we brought our own drinking water and only used the campsite water for washing dishes. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and Bass Lake is absolutely stunning. There are many beautiful spots along the shore perfect for spending the day picnicking and enjoying the scenery. The lake definitely deserves a 5-star rating for its beauty. **BUT BEAR ALERT ‼️** A bear cub has been wandering around the campground, looking for food. We encountered the cub on our check-out day while packing up. It wasn’t aggressive but it is crucial to stay alert. Bears remember spots where they’ve found food and are likely to return (Campsite #049) This bear cub came out of the bushes sniffing around and managed to grab a bread packet, an oil bottle, and some snacks we had out for preparing breakfast. Future campers, please keep all food items away from your camping tent—store them in the bear box or your car. Make sure to clean up thoroughly after cooking and avoid leaving any food smells lingering. Despite the bear encounter, we had a great time and would recommend this campground, especially for the beautiful Bass Lake. Just remember to stay bear-aware to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay! Happy Camping :)

Campsites are too close to each other, be patient with people making noise after getting drunk, remember not everyone comes to camping to go on a 10 mile hike next day. Be patient and enjoy. Good place.

The campground is superb. The Bass lake nearby is amazing. Would definitely go there again if time permits

Great campground. Our spot had enough shade till midday, the staff was very lovely and the bathrooms were always clean. There is a great restaurant called Miller’s Landing nearby and the beach is only a walk away. I would only suggest having some soap at the restrooms and a dish washing station.

Nice location. Very close to the lake. There are nice hikes near by. The water is pretty warm. But could be pretty noisy during the day and till late night. People likes stay late there and party with really loud music. You can hear it very well from all around. A lot of people fishing there and riding boats. There are two stores and restaurants. So if you forget something at home you can easily find it in the local stores. Other all I would recommend to bring earplugs.
