The location is nice but it isn’t the cleanest campsite with abandoned cars and campers. The staff is very nice and I felt comfortable staying there. FYI. The bathrooms are poorly maintained and the showers in particular are subpar for a campground advertised as full hook up. We payed for showers at the rec center in town. Personally I did not enjoy the loose dogs coming from the permanent residents.

This place is great! The creek runs through and for tent/car campers its easy. There are some long term folks here, but everyone is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are easy and accessible. Every camp site has a spigot for well water. There is highway noise but that is not the fault of the campground, just be aware.

I'm very sorry Miss Green. I didn't mean those awful things I said about your RV place. And I'm especially sorry for calling you rude. Your place really is a nice place to stay. I love every minute of my visits to see my husband. He stayed at your place for months with his job. Again I sincerely apologize. C. Montoya

I am very upset & disappointed about how filthy & disgusting the facilities are. They promote Hot Showers, yet you have to stand in a disgusting dirty, pan with a grate on it & the drain doesn't drain so you are standing in filthy nasty other people's yuck. The walls, the shower curtain, the doors, the trash cans , the sinks... All of it, just completely gross. Our campsite was small with only one option to put our tent. The fence that was supposed to be between us & the next site was missing that entire section so no privacy & they placed the fire pit right next to where our tent had to go. Our lovely neighbors burned a fire all night & smoked us completely out to sleep in our car both nights. I understand campfires are a part of camping but this was unbearable. The place is so junky & run down. Not worth the sleepless nights, the disgusting bathrooms & not thought out nor maintained sites. Also our camping neighbors parked their second car into our side & we couldn't get our vehicle in both nights. This was a terrible experience & advertised falsely. Never again.

We LOVED this campground!! It is in the Carson National Park, it has mature blooming trees, a stream runs through it, and gurgles all the time...so relaxing. There are fire rings, picnic tables, the spaces are large, the sites are gravel/level. There is a nature trail to hike. The place looks old, but the host is remarkable. Its close to hiking trails, its right on the Enchanted Circle, and only 7 min to Taos, 5 to the Cow for great icecream!

Very run down!! No cell service, and their wifi wasn't working at all when we were there. Weeds were three feet high, everything was over grown. Our travel trailer is 28 feet long and barely fit in a space, we had to park the truck in another spot. The showers were not working. Their "fire pits" were filled with rocks even though fire danger in that area is low ( it was in the green). The only spots that looked like RV spots were the six pull throughs. The rest look like tent spots. $47 for a night... definitely not worth that!

Campground is a rustic setting, in need of TLC. The bathroom/showers need update. The campground host and young lady helper were very very nice. They went above and beyond to help us.
