Disappointing, I've been coming here over 15 years and the way I was treated at my last visit by the owner was concerning and insulting. I pulled in two minutes (I checked) before the official open time of the resort, and as soon as I got out of the car I was confronted and scolded that I was on private property and I was trespassing, on top of that there were new signs everywhere on rules and what not to do, looked like a museum. I had a good relationship with the last owner and would be at the resort every weekend fishing and talking with the local fishing legend John, I understand under new ownership there are changes, but to be given absolutely no courtesy and be treated like a criminal, being watched the whole time and micromanaged, ruins the childhood nostalgia I had growing up there. The dock hours are ridiculous, not being allowed to fish or enter the property in the morning is against how fishing works, I pray that these owners can lighten up as I would love to return if it gets better but currently I would look elsewhere. These owners are taking the fun out of a fishing or lake day with their rigid rules and the way they watch your every move wanting to give their two cents, its unfortunate to see the downfall of one of my favorite places

We stayed in a cabin and it was the perfect set up for our family and dogs. Beautiful view of the water from the front porch and windows. The hosts were friendly, the cabin had basics included like linens and dishes and it was nice to have a full size fridge and oven. Wish we would've stayed longer to rent a boat as prices were reasonable but it was a good location to day trip various state parks nearby. Great place to unplug and unwind.

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, stay FAR away from this place. But if you want to be followed around by a very hosile and bizarre sister/brother couple/management duo who think yelling and bullying guests is part of hospitality, this is the place for you! Want to invite friends or family over? Be ready to shell out $10 per visitor—even for family. And if you're okay with a creepy, aggressive woman confronting your guests, you'll feel right at home. Hoping to enjoy some outdoor time? Think again. The lake is full of algae with questionable safety levels for swimming or fishing. Oh, and don't plan on enjoying a fire or conversation outside—because you'll be told to go inside by 9 PM. Safety isn’t a priority here either. The cabins are just feet from a highway where cars zip by at 55+ mph with zero fencing—so if you have kids or pets, good luck keeping them safe. Love the smell of mothballs? Great—these cabins reek of them. Into paying way too much for cabins that look and feel like they haven’t been touched since the 1950s? You’ve found your spot. And don’t even think about having guests stay past 9 PM. They’ll hound you about it, citing the fine print in the paperwork over and over. We stayed here in the early and mid-2000s and had wonderful family memories. Sadly, those days are long gone. The current owners have completely run it into the ground. In my opinion it seems dirty, it’s hostile, and it’s nothing like it used to be. I thought it might just be something they had against my little family, until I saw them doing the same thing to the kids next door! Talking with those guests, they let me know they had been treating everyone like unwelcome pests for days! Do yourself a favor: skip this disaster and go to Silver Lake COVE up the road— clean cabins, decks, and a welcoming atmosphere. A much better use of your time and money.

My family had adjoining rooms in the hotel. The patio door swings open so we had a great time on the expansive decks. Rooms were well furnished. There are plenty of things to do on the property for the family. Service was excellent. Great staff. The only downside was the WIFI was spotty. Overall it was a great visit.

We had an amazing day thanks to Silver Lake Resort. We had a really disappointing experience with another location this morning and in hopes of salvaging the day, we ended up renting kayak from Silver Lake Resort. The equipment was so clean and almost like new. We rented a tandem and then had two launches. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, gave us lake tips and oh my goodness the views! Both Mt Rainier and St Helens in one view. Breathing! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back for other outings.

Come for the kid friendly fishing/kayaking and swimming. A little noisy from main road. Definitely rustic, but for what it is, we will be back. And we did catch a bass off the balcony! RV and tent sites packed in, but I will come back for the cabins. The motel was fine, nice to have the full stove, and apartment fridge. Albeit the building is in need of some TLC and a/c (our room smelled like an old lady house), they provided a large fan and u can just walk out and jump in the water. The common grill area was also awesome to use, thanks Silver Lake Resort!

For a “fishing resort “, it’s not bad, but if you’re not going fishing, there are nicer places to stay for the same price or less. The cabin we stayed in was fairly maintained and mostly clean (didn’t stink like some cabins I’ve stayed in). The shower had very little water pressure and there were moldy spots and hair in it, but at least it had warm water. Trying to reach someone at the resort, in order to book a stay was a hassle. I’m assuming this is partly because it was “off season”. If we were there to go fishing, it would have been a different experience, but we were just looking for a place to stay overnight in the middle of a long drive home.

I stayed in my small RV trailer. The host/hostess were very accommodating and friendly. Restroom was clean and the campground in general was well maintained. I’m sure I’ll be back.

We were able to get away for a night in the motor home and needed to stay close to our house. Thus was an awesome experience and place for us, the kids and the dogs. They have boat rentals and all kinds of fun stuff. We were glad we had a small rig because we saw a big RV pretty much get stuck and have to maneuver it's way out....just to get out of the park.

This place is AWESOME! The view is beautiful. Lots of different boats to rent and plenty of fish to catch. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hosts make you feel like family even though you've never met. Will definitely go back. Great place!
