We go halloween camping here each year and it never disappoints. Friendly campers, nice amenities and large open sites. Took our puppy to his first camping trip and he loved it

Our family has been coming here for over 50 years now, it used to be really fun and the staff was friendly but since they changed owners the vibe has changed. They increased all the prices, have been rude to our family over new rules that nobody let us know about, last year the one of the women that owns the campground freaked out over my 5 year old cousin using chalk on the sidewalk and this year they close everything 2 hours early like the store and pool. We have had our reservation for a year, they could have at least called us to let us know. Fun place to camp at but its like the owners actively try to stop repeat campers.

We have been camping in the area for over 15 years & had never been to Silver Springs for some reason. Last min trip & they had availability. At first impression seemed like there was rule for everything but ended up being a really good time. We loved our site location, the staff was nice, loved the band, we'll definitely be back. Only negative was the swimming pond with kind of icky & smelt like goose poop. We ended up over at the pool pretty quickly which was OK with me! The food was great & loved the flavor twist ice cream. My husband & I & our 2 adult children "who rarely camp with us anymore" had a very memorable time. My son asked why we didn't ho there when they were kids!! Can't wait to plan our next visit!! Thanks, The Budiac family

You have to pay quarters to take a shower. Unacceptable. I put in 2 quarters and water stayed on for maybe 3 minutes. Not good at all.
