It was a clean facility and I liked the dog washing station. As we're traveling around the country most RV resorts have full-time residence. No different here. Some full-time residence take on the attitude the rules don't apply to them. There dogs were off leash and one charged at my 2 small dogs on leash. We were woken up just before 1 am to loud noise, a loud car idling, music with bass that rattled our rv, another car idling, more loud talking and music. It last after 1:30. I did report it, so hopefully it doesn't happen to others.

While the location isn't beautiful thinking of country side, it is a superb location to stop over when on your way out to Yellowstone. The campground seems to have some folks living there all year round but they blended in well. Very convenient location right off of 80, super easy check in and check out. Well maintained and set up, we had pull through sites. I like to mention that the ground is well leveled, which is a great help if your RV doesn't have self leveling capabilities. The bathrooms are clean and while not brandnew, well maintained.

Compared to the other RV Park we looked at in Winnemucca. Silver State RV Park was a 5 star RV Park. Things we really liked about Silver State? It's spacious, your steps don't meet your neighbors steps. When you get there it's easy to find your RV space. The rows are well organized. And it's easy to see the numbers for each space on the good sized electric boxes. Hook ups were great and easy to figure out. There is nice tall trees throughout. There is no garbage, broke down vehicles or such laying around. There is a pool. And it's absolutely silent in the evening. 👍 The things we didn't like about Silver State RV Park? Don't bring your kids bicycles. There are goat head sticker weeds all over, and they were all over in our space. We tried to not track them inside our trailer. But that was hard to do. With two teenage boys who are careless. I like to be barefoot in my trailer. Not happening there. 😏 And the last thing we didn't like. Was that restroom/showers closest to us were dirty, rundown and falling apart. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our boys had their mini bikes and they were able to find plenty of dirt trails nearby to go ride around on. We all had a good time. Thanks Silver State RV Park. If we come back through we will remember to stop by!

Fit us in that day. Nice service. Pictures are deceiving. I did not look at the showers and pool area but the camp landscape was weeds all over. Somewhat trashy looking. Most campers there permanent and it looked like it. Just takes a little TLC.

A very well kept campground that actually had a dog wash. Really, a dog wash with dryer. That was really needed.. The place was packed with tons of baseball kids so judging the cleanliness of baths or how quiet the grounds was, really isn't fair.. I'd stay again for sure..
