The silverton train comes by the r.v park. We are nestled in a old mining valley with beautiful views. The staff is awesome!. Very nice and helpful. I want to come here regularly every year.

Arrived there with a group , we were only ones they did not have a spot for ( ok I understood) office people told us we could park in field behind park no hookups no use of generators till next morning then had to leave ( ok I appreciate it , understand) woke up that night to owner putting dents in my door with his mag light , cussing and threatening. Told him I’d be glad to leave the next morning which he agreed to. Next morning at 8am he was back with local deputy to Make sure I left ( Hell yea I’m leaving). Then went to chamber of commerce and told them of my plight and what a jerk the owner was , they said they knew that !! Then a nice lady said go park your rv at my house for the week we have plenty of room. We still love and think of her. Nearly had to force her at the end of week to take payment and gifts.

We found this park to be very convenient to our needs. We have a smaller RV so spaces were fine for us. Would have liked more trees but since it doesn't get too warm there it was fine. Staff was extremely helpful with planning our days activities. We rented a jeep from them (a bit dated) but they were knowledgeable about the area and best trails to follow. Had a great time in Silverton, CO.

The park location is very good. Space is kinda small but still accessible for our 45' motorhome. The park is quiet, and views are amazing. The park host and front desk people are very nice and helpful. We had a great time in Silverton during our 7 days vacation.

Nice park with beautiful views. Sites are a little close together and there are water issues with heavy rains. We got up one morning surrounded by water. As other reviews have said the afternoon gentleman and the ladies are wonderful to deal with. The owner Denny was very accommodating to us. The morning desk guy is not pleasant to deal with. Would give 5 stars if not for him. Try avoiding dealing with him and you will have better out comes.
