Excellent RV park!!!! Super clean site, laundromat and shower room. Electric service worked perfectly along with the water and sewer connections. Caprock Canyon (20 mins) and Palo Duro Canyon (35 mins) are close by and easy to get to. We would have tried the food truck more than once if we hadn’t brought so much of our own groceries. We had Buffalo wings and a Hamburger w/fries. Both excellent (and very reasonably priced). Owners are very attentive and courteous!!! Hope to go back soon!!

We stayed here for 6 nights on our way out west for the Winter. The owners of the campground are very friendly and welcoming. They accommodated our needs in every way. Our spot was really nice and level, with a cute fence to define our site. the campground is kept very clean and neat. the bathrooms were clean but the water was really not hot enough. The food truck they operate is right there on site, and was really nice considering it's literally the only place to eat in Silverton. We enjoyed staying here and highly recommend!

This is a really good place close to Caprock state park. We were pleasantly surprised by the room, shower and we received a warm welcome. Funny enough, the best shower we had of our entire trip. Yes it’s small and cozy, but everything was there. Would absolutely go here again.

This place is amazing! I brought food to eat but ended up eating at their food truck most of the time because it was amazing. Did cook my steaks at Caprock after hiking but otherwise ate at the food truck. They have the best breakfast I have ever tasted! The bathrooms are clean. The property was amazing! they let me charge my phones which was great since we needed the map for hiking at Caprock! we also got to watch a 6 man high school football game while we there!

We stayed in our RV and enjoyed our stay. The owners have owned it for 2 years and you can tell that they truly want to make your experience the best it can be. The food cart onsite ,Briscoe Bites, was really good. It does not have a dog park but there is plenty of room to walk your dogs on leash. It also has a little playground area for kids. It has the only laundromat in town. We would recommend staying if you are traveling through the area and need a spot to camp out or you can stay in a cabin onsite as well. Very well maintained RV park!

Expensive the landscaping is non existeant. However the managers are awesome and friendly.

Silver Wind has to be one of the most charming RV parks I’ve ever come across! The couple that own and run it, Sharon and Gary, are some of the kindest and most friendly people I’ve come across in my travels. Then genuinely care about making sure your stay at their park is perfect. The washrooms (which include showers) are impeccably clean, with plenty of very hot water. The sites are level with easy pull-through access for rigs of any size and extra vehicles also. 30 and 50 amp hookups along with grey and black water disposal were at most, if not all of the sites. A laundry room was available and there was free WiFi for park guests. Sharon had even put together a great little packet listing all the local resources, such as grocery stores, restaurants, churches, etc. As a side note, I was having a bit of sn issue with my truck, and Gary was extremely kind and generous with his time to help me troubleshoot it, and ultimately give me a great referral for a local mechanic. Texas hospitality at its finest!

A nice family owned park. The owners are very helpful and accommodated a late check in. Do be aware of west Texas winds if you travel in the spring.
