Hot as Hades, but there were only a few people there, so I tolerated it. Nice little campground, right off the road. Felt safe for the most part except for some shady people that drove through, driving right past me and purposely did not make eye contact, parked behind the bathrooms. I got scared and started packing up, then sat in my car for awhile. I was alone in the park at that point, then a worker showed up and the creeps quickly departed. For the most part, I loved it. Noice from the road, didnāt bother me. Did not walk down to the river.

Homeless encampment at best. Campground host is the only one who gets access to water with hose attachment. Woken up at 11:30pm with creeps shining light at camper...pretty sure the generator would have been gone if wasn't locked. Spaces are small and no dump station

WORST CAMP HOST EVER. I love this campground. It is well maintained, has wonderful pools of water to swim right off the trail, and is close to Willow Creek. A group of 11 of us rented 3 campsites for the weekend for our annual float (year 8 now?) and this is where we always go. It was 102-108 degrees everyday and didnāt cool off until 10pm at least. First night the camp host told us at 930pm that we were already too loud and that quiet hours were 10pm-6am. At 10:03pm she came over and told us that we better have a Plan B for where weāre staying because we she was going to call the cops on us. Literally, no music playing, just 5 adult sitting around catching up on life. No one under the age of 38. She proceeded to tell one friend of ours (who is partially deaf) that they need to go to bed because their voice was the loudest. Same thing happened the second night at 10:01pm. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN SCOLDED FOR TALKING AFTER DARK WHILE CAMPING. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

I love this campground. Lots of firepits and room for small to medium RVs. They have great drinking water and a clean bathroom. Lots of tent sites. It's above the creek, so the humidity is lower. The price per nite is $10 or $5 if you have a senior pass. Length of stay is up to 2 weeks. Lots of shade, dog friendly. It is close to the road, but the trees block it. The camp host is Katrina and she is terrific. Best camp host in Willow Creek area. Very helpful and kind. She works hard and always smiles and checks to see if you need anything. Wood is available.

Not a bad little campground for an overnight pit stop while traveling. To close to 299 for my taste but situated well for grabbing a night's sleep while traveling over the ranges

This place was super beautiful! But bring bug spray and long pants. A lot of posion oak unfortunately. And the consular here was very informative and kept the bathrooms/table extremely clean and spider/spider web free. Sincerely it's so reassuring when you have to use the restroom let alone at night it's really clean. We went in the heat of 104 but because where this camp was it was manageable. We definitely wanna come back again š¤

Great site if you don't mind the road noise. Be ready to wash off some poison oak if you make the trek down to the river. The camp host was gracious and helpful.

its a 10$ camp ground , what can ya say .. has shade which is nice , close to willow creek for supplies, pizza , beers , gas, ice ,all those essentials .. river is near , not super easy to access... trail that can be used for enjoyment , the 20 or less sites are close together but enough greenery gives privacy , noise by the road but what do expect ..day use parking as well , vault toilets , trash recycling no water currently , but seems they are working on it .. all in all a decent stop over , after a long day of enjoying the beautiful trinity river your beat u get a few beers in ya some good food who cares bout what its missing lol
